ZERO STARS. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE. Wish I'd read the reviews before I left my clothes in their care. Paid them to clean a blazer and they gave it back to me with the fabric covered in frayed fibres and ruined beyond repair -- it's totally unwearable. They didn't offer a refund or an apology, nothing. They've failed to respond to my requests for compensation and the attendant appears to have no authority to make any decisions and the managers in Palmers Green don't answer the phone. They kept the jacket for more than a week to try to fix it though it was clear from the outset the damage was irreversible and eventually handed me a letter with no apology, no acknowledgement of the damage, just a description of the process they used and that they followed the care label and recommending that I "return the garment to the vendor"!!!! Appalling.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I'm a regular customer of shirtstream and was disappointed that I could not pay the £9 charge for a 5 minute job when I come to collect my jeans once fixed because their machine was rebooting. So I was asked to walk around the corner to get cash and come back. The point is principle, some of the staff know who I am and instead of saying "sure" no worries. The attendant treats me like a person who would not come back an pay. I mean seriously it's £9. Also, the staff speak in a different language in front of staff that I find very unprofessional.
This place is absolutely disgraceful. Came to this place to get a hole punched in my belt. After they said it would be 5 pounds, I asked for 2 holes. They ended up charging me 10 pounds for this 25 second job. After I complained about it the staff got really rude and unfriendly. Very unprofessional. Would never set foot in this store again. Honestly, I should have looked at previous reviews as the rating speaks for itself.
Expensive drycleaner providing a very poor service ; my shirts came back with ink marks from their labels. When I complained, the lady at the desk said that the ink will never come off and that they did not do anything wrong.
Terrible service, over-priced, stay away and save yourself a hassle. Bought in a simple hem adjustment for a tuxedo and couldn't complete it in 3 days after being assure it would be ready. It's now the day before a formal evening and have been put in a bind.
Terrible service. They operate shady sales practices to get you to buy their overpriced 'executive' service without telling you. You're better off going to Timpson on Cheapside, or any other dry cleaning service for that matter.
Avoid - they could not understand what 'Felt' was when trying to explain if they could clean my hat. When I said it was made from Felt they said 'I know, but what is it made from'. They asked me to come in but if they couldn't clean it, it would be a wasted journey.
Poor!!!!! they ruined my coat which cost £900! they refused to give me back a refund for the service too. Horrible service - don't even bother going to this dry cleaners!
Total rubbish. first time I have ever been charged separately for a blazer and grey trousers. Must have had it dry cleaned dozens of times as a suit. Really bad experience.
Great experience despite other reviews- DJ dry cleaned and pressed to high standard. A little pricey but central London location.
