My father in law spent 6 weeks here. He had a Bright airy single rooms with TV. Physiotherapy and OT unit and social workers on site. The room was kept very clean and the food was adequate. The staff were very helpful.

Was in here for 1 week and couldn't wait to get out. Ended up self discharging. The food was small and horrible. I was disappointed with the care I received. I couldn't move when I went in and I was told I was going to have intense physio and I had nothing of the sort. I got myself to the baseline with shear determination. I hope I never have to be in here again. I feel I was treated like a 2nd class citizen and wasn't allowed an opinion.

Obviously a hospital with a dubious reputation. Need to buck up their acts and ideas.

My Dad was in Shire Hill recently and I was upset about the care he received. My Dad is 83 and deserves better.
