This classic cable tram is historical and maintained by the local community. Resorted and operated by volunteers who are both knowledgeable, informative and friendly. It's a fun ride as well, great views at top, where you'll find a pub and a tea house.

Great to ride on here again, used to go on it when I was little, then with my children and now with my grand daughter.The only disappointment is when you get off at the top there is nothing to do. All the rides and amusements have gone. Staff are all friendly,  helpful and enthusiastic.

Oldest cable tramway in country excepting cliff lifts. Amazing to see it still running. Maintenance team do a fantastic job keeping it running and meeting modern safety standards. Good value and all money raised is put back to keep it running. All staff are unpaid volunteers. Only a 3 - 4 minute journey but certainly recommend a visit.

Amazing place. It has been a day out for Bradford people for more than 150 years. I remember crowds of people getting off the buses at Saltaire (trams before that) and walking down and getting the railway up to the Glen to the funfair and plants nursery. Simpler days...

It is a very very warm and welcoming place, with a range of things to look at telling us about it's and Saltaire's. They have a nice sweet shop at the top station with a range of old fashioned sweets.
