Great day out especially if you have kids. There are a good few activities for them to do and the grounds aren't too large even for a lilone to walk about. Great facilities on site and the boating pond and miniature train are a must. Also have a train shape transport all can travel around in. Kids will love this place and adults also.
Loved Shibden ...Think my Pictures Say it all ..it's a Captivating Hall Has so much Character and Charm with such an Interesting local History. Well done for keeping it as it was to be enjoyed ..Also as a Huge Gentleman Jack Fan those Touches very much appreciated
Very interesting house, staff on duty at the time of our visit were friendly and the lady in the hall was very informative and polite. Told us the history of the listers and other information which made looking around the house more enjoyable. Grounds were lovely, and we had a good walk. Great day out.
So much to do. Something for everyone. We had a nine year old and an 88 year old. Both were happy throughout our visit. Don't leave it too late to use the loo behind the cafe though. They had start cleaning them and wouldn't let our 88 year old go.
Fantastic place to visit. Lots to see including the hall and extensive grounds including a miniature railway and boating lake. Staff friendly and helpful, very clear Covid procedures. The cafe in the park is a great place for a spot of lunch.
Lovely park. Lots to do. Miniature railway, boating on the lake. Childrens play area. Train that drives on the path & road. We had food from the cafe which was very tasty. Unfortunately I didn't get time to go to Shibden Hall but hopefully next time.
Beautiful house and gardens. Lots of information, staff very knowledgeable. Good value for money.
Lovely local wintery walk around the park, paths suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs with a tasty coffee and cake stop at the café. Couple of hours parking for £1. Well with a visit if you're nearby.
