Story

In 1960 Brian Woodward, joined Brian Sherlock and together they purchased a large double fronted property on Staines Road West which, interestingly used to be the tollhouse beside the main road from Sunbury to Staines.Sherwood Vets is now a two branch small animal practice owned by David Platten and Max King.
When you commit your animal's care to us we will do our best to help him or her have an active and happy life as befits an important member of your family.

Great Vet and Staff. Treated my little Toska with care and I felt comfortable with her being treated there. A lovely young Receptionist was being trained by Staff at front desk and it was nice to see how kindly she was being treated.

We have got new puppy named Tami girl. We had vaccines at Sherwood, I was not happy to leave her alone as she was very scared as we only had her for couple weeks. She was not even happy on the car! I have pictures of our previous star Tiger, he’s has no fear and love driving, super friendly but sadly died last year after horse attack. We managed to get this new puppy similar to him after a year.
Changed our vet to sherwood and all we can say is staff very friendly and caring. We put our cat izzy to sleep they were so supportive and caring to my wife and even sent a card... thank you

Take my dog and house rabbit to this vets and whatever I need to go to the vets about this vets is the best I have ever used. Really helpful and have your interest as priority even with the financial part
Have been with Sherwood for over 20 years and would never go anywhere else they have been brilliant with all our pets. The staff are excellent and very helpful. They are very compassionate when you have to make the hardest decision to say goodbye.
Misdiagnosed reason for appetite loss in our cat. Failed to advise on whether oral medicine for thyroid issue could be administered by injection. Within 24 hrs of prescribing appetite stimulant our cat died. Appalling Treatment of a family pet by this vet

There are not enough stars to give! After a rather frantic phone call first thing in the morning regarding our poorly dog, we were fitted in within twenty minutes of the call. Despite our dog being extremely poorly, and indeed it looking likely that he wouldn't make it, the staff here worked their magic to make him much better. The staff are without exception very pleasant, friendly, calming and as reassuring as they can be whist remaining honest and realistic. I will not hesitate to recommend Sherwood Vets to anyone and everyone. Thanks to all for getting our wee man back on his sofa!
