Used to go here quite often but have found the prices to be going up alot and the portions getting smaller. Sadly won't be going back as there are other local businesses that offer better food for better value.
Best 'make it on the spot' Sandwich bar in Barnstaple hands down! Been here on and off for many years now, the two guys working here are always friendly and helpful. Choose from a range of breads, fillings and salads with snacks/drinks to compliment them. It's fast and fresh, many people who work in town go here frequently for their lunch, there's a reason for that!
I was working near by. I Had a tuna and red onion rye baguette and I can quite honestly say it was amazing. Tuna was fresh baguette was lovely and soft. Owners were very nice and friendly. 5 stars from me.
These people on here moaning about this Sandwich bar have probably never been in the shop because every time I've been in the staff are friendly and polite the food is always fresh and made to order and it has 5 stars, So I'd like to know where they have visited because it certainly wasn't this place..
Lovely food, great blokes, all at a great price, portion sizes are spot one, all homemade and extremely tasty!
Terrible experience in there, the owner of the restaurant is a terribly awful person. Overheard the owner saying some awful and derogatory things, all just in one visit. Will not be visiting again! Food was stale and looked like it had just been prepared by a gibbon.

Would not go here again, very rude owners. Did not feel welcome.
