Jon is a first class Physiotherapist who takes time to get to know the patient fully, both physically and mentally. He listens and takes extensive notes to refer back to. He gives very precise recovery exercises and is always on hand if you need any assistance. Also James is excellent at rehab with all the same attributes as Jon. He is a great asset to Jon. Without a doubt both Jon and James are the best physio/rehab team that I have experienced by far and have recommended them to other people who have had the same first class service and execution.
I've used Shepherds' Health for health issues and have found Jon to be an extremely knowledgeable individual. My shoulder problem was quickly diagnosed and a program initiated to remedy it. Ive since recommended the practice to family and clients , all of which have very pleased with the recommendations and results. I have nothing but praise for the way Jon and his team work with the client to achieve excellent results.
I have seen both Jon Shepherd for my back and James Stranders for my knees after having surgery. I have been to a number of physios in the past few years for my back without much success. Jon was recommended to me and after seeing him 8 or 10 times , my back issue has largely been resolved. Jon provided me with a number of straightforward but different to anything I have been shown before exercises which I continue with at home. Its a very similar situation with James. Again he was recommended to me by a personal trainer after having surgery on both my knees. He has improved both the movement and strength in both knees for which I am grateful. I would highly recommend both Jon and James for both their expertise and professional approach. David Tresadern
Jon and his team have been providing my family with treatment for a number of years. Jon has abilities beyond any physio we have used before. He also knows when to refer to other experts he has links with. Amazing treatment and outcomes every time!
I went to see Jon at Shepherd's Health with a chronic case of plantar fasciitis that I had been struggling to shift for months. The excellent treatment, targeting both the painful symptoms and, more importantly, the root cause of the problem, has led to me running again in the space of a few months. Considering that a few months ago I was struggling to walk without foot pain, never mind run, I'm delighted with how things have turned out. I thoroughly recommend this practice, and Jon in particular. He works in a way I've never experienced from a physio before, from a neurological and physiological perspective, and has a magnificent understanding of how the body works. A Jedi of physio. I won't go anywhere else next time.
I've seen John for quite some time due to previously long standing issues with my back and arm. I can 100% recommend seeing John and his team as through a few short sessions my quality of life has improved dramatically and happily recommend the services of Shepherds' Health to family and friends.
I like the team, I like the results. Professional and friendly with a very broad range of services, most of which I have used. I have found adopting a preventative schedule with them absolutely the best strategy for me to remain as injury free and fit as possible. From routine physio to regular strength and conditioning sessions. 10 years + as a customer, never been any where else.
Jon is an excellent physio. I have used him for a number of sports injuries and he has got me back to full fitness on each occasion. I highly recommend him.
