Best store in London for bookbinding materials, with a wide selection of paper and book cloth. There is a very organised ordering system which makes purchasing items very efficient at the till point. They sell other bookbinding tools, like bonefolders, thread, and awls. They offer a 5% student discount which isn’t great but better than nothing.
Walked past this place while exploring and went inside out of curiosity. This is a place for serious paper enthusiasts. They literally have folders of them that you can browse through and select ones you want; an 'ikea' for paper. Their selection of patterned paper is also so beautiful. You can get a 5% student discount here.
I absolutely love this place. The staff are friendly and very helpful, even for an amatuer giving bookbinding a go! If I am around that area at any time I have to pop in, even when in the office I can nip out during my lunch break.
Amazing team, they helped me pick out a gift box and Minh kindly wrapped the gift up for me with her expert hands.
I needed to bind a book but had no idea what I needed. I phoned the shop but got through to the binders, the lady I spoke to was very helpful and spent the time to explain not only which covering was best but also the best adhesive. Ordered and delivered without problem. Job now complete, thanks and well done Shepherds staff.
Recently purchased a few items for my uni work and absolutely fell in love with the shop as soon as I stepped inside. Fully immersed the whole experience taking my time by looking around the shop with helpful assistance who's willing to help you. Great and reasonable prices for the paper, worth the visit! Will be definitely coming back here again. 10/10. Astonishing.
Very helpful staff. Lots of choice in unusual, quirky, pretty paper. Also great for restoration materials etc etc. A good selection of greeting cards. If you are searching for something unusual it will obviously cost a bit more. Prices are in line with other art shops.

This place is stunning! Serious collection of paper, really well catalogued by someone who really likes paper. I've never seen anything like it. And prices for the sheets we picked were really reasonable. Also very nicely wrapped for carrying.
