This is a 24 HR Fuel Station. A Convenience Store during daytime hours. Smart well run establishment.
Love the Shell app. Pay at pump, no waiting around in queues. Easy. And my wife likes refuelling, so win win.
I've been to this garage many times, however last Saturday 26th April 2025 I felt very unsafe. I needed to use the toilet before a journey from Wolverhampton to London, i have never used the toilets here before and couldn't remember if they had them so I asked the guy in there stacking the shelves the only guy in the shop during my time in the toilet the door handle went down and someone tried to enter but I locked the door. I was expecting to see another customer waiting but there was no one else in the shop nor anyone filling up at the petrol pumps. This scenario has been playing on my mind all week, why did someone maybe the guy working there attempt to come in. When I come out he was standing by the door of the shop pacing alittle. As a woman on her own I felt alittle unsafe while in the shop. I also had my son in the car who had fallen asleep I would normally take him in with me too.
Services really good but prices? Come on now. The time that it had to be under 1.3 for both petrol and diesel.
Poor customer service. The cashier always on the phone or listing to music when serving customers RUDE!! and he's suppose to be the MANAGER!!! Fine example there. Prices on display don't match that on the till so you end up paying more. So I suggest you always ask for a receipt. Only went in to grab a coffee, and 2 pastries and adds additional items plus fuel on top when I only ordered 3 items. Thankfully noticed before payment. I won't be using this station again multiple problems here AVOID!!!
