In general - great place with lovely staff, I do my shopping there for quite a few months now as I moved to Sevenoaks and live nearby. Recently a new staff member appeared, lovely gentleman called Alexandr Alex, as requested to call him - such a helpful and polite young man. Give him a rise! 5 stars
I tried shopping there at 22:20 on Friday, the staff member told me they were closed. However 2 mins later as I was deciding what I wanted a lady approached and he opened the door for her. Utterly disgusting prejudice considering there was already another man in the store maybe staff member in his own clothesnI returned tonight to buy some food for my night shift and the same individual refused to open the door.nI told him the I was there on Friday and all I got as a response was a shrug. I walked away with items that I didn't really want because I couldn't be bothered trying to explain what I wanted when I can't see what's on the shelves. Do you have a policy that the doors stay closed after a specific time? If so, why? It's Sevenoaks for god's sake.
A real shame in comparison to how it used to be. Shelves are messy/dirty, food choices are much more limited and all over priced. Used to shop here frequently but it’s changed so much I don’t bother. Not sure if Waitrose also realise the potential this has in damaging their brand reputation.
Used to go here a lot for groceries and petrol as it was close to my home so convenient. Was previously Waitrose run but has now switched to shell run, still selling Waitrose food. The marks ups on food are so greedy and ridiculous that I no longer visit, I drove the extra distance to go to Sainsbury’s instead. Seems very quiet these days. Greedy shell paying the price. Good karma
there is a man who works here who makes young girls feel very uncomfortable, i have been in many times myself and whenever this man is in there he leans over the counter to look me up and down and always makes comments about me , and says how it’s “lovely to see “ me and how good i look. continues to stare and me walking out all the way until i get in my car . there is being friendly and then there is being weird, he does not give a friendly vibe
