No Scottish notes, I suggest u change to a bank that accepts them! Legal tender last time I checked
The price of fuel here is marginally cheaper than Hexham but the layout of the pumps is woeful and the folk queuing to use the place are often sitting on the main road, causing mayhem. Would have been better to install fewer pumps and more 'pay at pump' options
I would like to thank the very kind farmer that was in this garage getting diesel in his jerry cans,on Sunday 30th April,I went to pay for my fuel £61,50,only to be told sorry we can't take Scottish/ Irish notes due to forgery,it was the post office, that said they would not accept them to bank, and this kind gentleman had no problems accepting my notes and paying for my fuel with his card, if this kind gentleman hadn't been there,I wouldn't have been able to pay for the fuel as I only had cash, what would have happened?so I would like to thank him very much
My partner and I use the garage regularly as we live locally. However today he has been shouted at for no good reason by a member of staff.nThe staff need to sort out their attitude.nNeedless to say we won't be back.
