Just leaving a 5 star review to point out that the low reviews are some of the funniest comments I've seen. Absolute characters come into this place that's for sure
Avoid After spending £80 on fuel I took conflicting advice from more than one member of staff about meal deals it would not process and were asked for more money ,i declined and spent the next 10 minutes waiting for them to try and refund us ,the young guy with the tattoos came back with attitude and slightly aggressive comment and seemed to want to push it further when I replied asking what he was talking about It's not the first time this has been flagged up about his bad attitude maybe the management should address this ! We won't be back
Small service area ideal to stretch your legs have most amenities needed and good for people with dogs as room to stretch their legs just look out of the traffic
Beware of being scammed by tall ginger haired youth. My shell fuel card was repeatedly declined so I paid with my debit card. When I later checked the receipt, I noticed two bottles of coke that i'd not had on the receipt which explained why my fuel only card was declined. If shell would like me to identify the scammer, please don't hesitate to reply to this review with a phone number.
Staff very rude and not helpful at all when we were asking about the meal deal which was not adequately signed. Other people were also asking and revived the same unhelpful abrupt response. One lady was eating while serving and they were shouting out to other staff whilst in the middle of serving customers including us.
Tall ginger tattood lad is exceptionally cheeky and sarcastic. Beggar's belief who would employ such a reprobate. Stay away at all cost......
Useful place to fill up petrol but best for the views of North West Dartmoor in the distance. You can really get a sense of the massive scale of the moor at a glance
Forecourt nazi 'insisted' I turn my phone off before I was allowed to leave the shop. Not sure this is in keeping with corporate or regulatory guidelines. A little power goes a long a way....
After leaving the shop i mislaid my purse all the staff were super helpful even offering to look at the cctv above and beyond made a horrible situation bearable restored my faith in humanity thank you so much donna patterson ps found purse
Not cheap but a great place for fuel and to grab a coffee and a snack on the go. Clean, well stocked and friendly staff. We often stop here on the way to England.
