The Cathedral is beautiful, but Government guidelines are that only 15 can attend a wedding which is mad given the size of the place. Surely restrictions should go on size. However, it is what it is!!
Extremely pretty exterior and interior. Very well preserved. There’s also an exhibition inside to give you more details about the history of the cathedral. This includes famous people like John Wesley, John Montgomery, Talbot, etc. Otherwise, one could also enjoy the peace and quiet the cathedral offers.
Rotherham 2 Sheffield as the crow flies roughly 9 miles but C Ripon FIRST-- XX miles away-- STRANGE ways of doing it ??-- Ripon has 2 glass cabinet of silverware on display but at this moment in time Sheffield has not?? but have told the silverware will B back soon ??
Peaceful safe place especially during the lockdown.
I've never been inside before despite having lived in Sheffield in the 80's. Not the biggest cathedral in the world but a very calm and tranquil place.
