Lovely clean and tidy site with lovely views. Stopped over for one night when visiting friends in the area, the owners were very friendly and welcoming. Showers were push button and very powerful, washing up room had local information, kettle and cleaning stuff. Be aware there is road noise but that didn't worry us much......very well priced and we will visit again when staying in the area
Very friendly welcoming when we arrived, site is very clean and the facilities are much better than some hotels once your there facilities are free and there is even a games room that offers pool and table tennis which is great to entertain kids. There is even free charging facilities to charge your everyday essentials. Very open space with spectacular sun sets and lovely views.
Clean and well maintained camp site. Miriam and Tim helpful and friendly. Games room and small kitchen with kettle. Small play area for kids. No electric hookups so not suitable if you need a supply.
Lovely clean campsite with lots of facilities including: kitchen washroom with kettle, freezer for refreezing freezer blocks, power and USB charging, free showers and a games room with table tennis and pool, again free. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and points of interest. Lots of wildlife to observe including bats at night/early morning. Had a very enjoyable stay.
Lovely little site just outside of Chepstow and Lyndey. It sits off the A48 - a busy road so there is road noise wherever you pitch. Excellent facilities - showers, toilets, washing up area with a freezer to use. Free WiFi hich pleased the husband ‍. Owners, Miriam and Tim very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. Will definitely use again when next in the area. Very friendly cat almost came home with us
Wonderful camp site which is located with easy access to a lot of great historical site. The owners who are very friendly keep the site maintained to a very high standard and it was a pleasure to return each day. The showers were a good temperament and the pressure was exceptional every day. Although there are no electrical hookups on site there were several sockets available in the games room and kitchen area to charge devices if needed. If you are lucky enough you will get to see the neighbor take off and land in his small air craft.
A gem of a camp site. Ideal for families. Very clean toilets and showers. Thoughtful touches, kettle ,freezer and lots of power points in kitchen. Excellent games room. I took my grandkids last night for 1 night even though we live 5 miles away. They loved it. Real freedom and fun. Tim the owner only to happy to please. Will definitely return. Thank you .
Travelling North to Hereford or Forest of Dean is a delightful camping site run by a lovely and friendly couple .Great welcome, beautiful views with local walks to Tintern.Nestled between Severn and Wye river.
Clean washrooms, hot showers, beautifully kept camping field, no specific pitches, loads of room. Plus the added possibility weather and commitments permitting of some aviation from the lone pilot who keeps his aeroplane in a big shed on the adjacent airstrip. Only downside is the tight turn off the main road to access the site, especially if towing, so signal early, engage low gear and keep the revs up! Highly recommended.
Great campsite, its got good showers and all the essentials for a campsite, the owners are lovely, consientious folk and live onsite. it's a really convenient place for explore this part of the world, we did canoeing on the river Wye on one day but would came here again for climbing in the Wye valley.
