Simply the best! I’ve been using Sheepcraft for at least 4 years now…. And won’t go any where else! Jayne’s crochet classes are amazing - she’s super patient, and nothing is too much trouble. I’ve progressed from simple blankets, to much more complicated ones, clothes and toys, that I would never have attempted without Jayne’s help, knowledge and support. I really want to try the sewing classes too! A Wonderful welcoming little treasure trove of yarn and material.
I don’t know which shop people have been visiting but is certainly not mine or members of my knitting group experience. They are the most unhelpful shop owners, charging extra for patterns if you don’t purchase the yarn but will not order in the specified yarn. One year they were asked to put up a poster asking for purple knitted poppies for the annual remembrance display in the town. Not only did they refuse, they increased the price of purple yarn. The cafe at the end of the precinct was displaying small items for a donation to charity, knitted by a group of charity knitters that used the cafe. Sheepcraft wools complained and even tried to get the cafe closed down as they were taking away their business. I have not used the shop in over two years and anyone that asks the knitting group where we buy our wool are told not to use this shop and are redirected to another shop a short drive away.
Really friendly & knowledgeable staff, very helpful, highly recommend, would definitely go again.

A beautiful shop with so much choice I was spoilt. Free parking behind coop. The owners are lovely and as they were putting the kettle on asked if I'd like a coffee. You wouldn't get that anywhere else. Fantastic shop and exemplary customer service. Will definitely visit again.
absolutely amazing, everything you could ever need and more. So much choice I was spoilt, we spent about an hour there but could have stayed longer easily. Free parking. Lovely shop with a great variety of wool at reasonable prices. My friend and I were offered a cup of tea. Nice touch The couple were really helpful and friendly. We would go again, even travelling from Sutton Coldfield.
I love this wool shop ranks as a firm favourite in the Midlands. It's also a happy and helpful shop that makes this place a very nice place to purchase your yarn and plentiful supply of accessories. I always get more than I expected as I just love this shop.
I love this place. I saw this shop advertised on Facebook and had to go there. When we arrived it was very well hidden and we had to ask for directions to find it. It was in what appeared to be an old arcade. From the pictures on Facebook I honestly thought it was going to be huge. It's not. BUT... their wool is extreamly reasonably priced with a large range of different types of wool. They also sell crochet hooks, knitting needles and accessories for making items. I was chuffed with what I bought and I will be going back. They have a card machine and very friendly people work there. Go follow them on Facebook for a look.
Wonderful selection of wool and patterns. Staff helpful and friendly. Great advice and knowledge. Would 100% recommend to anyone who is looking for wool and all accessories needed for their hobby
