Chris Shaw always delivers a prompt professional service. Quotes and receipts are all sent via email helping me keep a record of all services and work done. He responds quickly to queries, sends reminders for annual services  and arrives on time. He responded to a previous suggestion about advice for less-than-expert homeowners by giving me some helpful  tips on how to monitor the performance of my central heating system. Again, I can thoroughly recommend him.

Prompt response and efficient and quick service.  I have used Shaw's Plumbing and Heating on a number of occasions and always been really pleased with the work and the price.  Couldn't be better.

Since writing this review recently, I have used this company again to deal with a faulty toilet and bathroom taps and to advise on some other matters.  As ever I was very impressed by the quality of the service provided.  I will definitely use this company again and would not hesitate to recommend it to all of my family and friends.  I have faith in the integrity and advice of the workmen and feel that it is important to them to do a good job.  I am very pleased with the work.

Chris Shaw is always helpful and always helps me out very quickly. He explains what he needs to do clearly and then confirms what he has done. He is always polite and caring at every point of contact - nothing is too much trouble to him. I just cannot fault the service that he provides and would recommend him to any of my friends and neighbours without any hesitation.

This is the first time I have used this company, chosen on the basis of good reviews.

Following quick and effective email communication, it was a bit of a tricky start, when he failed to turn up at the expected appointment time. When I called, I was told that the person had no access to his bookings and then I later received a telephone call to say that there had been a problem and that he was not going to turn up. Unfortunately, I heard nothing until I called to find out what the reason for the delay was.

The re-booking was equally interesting: "We can fit you in at 4pm today", but when I agreed to that appointment, it was no longer available. A booking for the following day at 3pm was then confirmed by email for 3am, requiring further communication from me.

When Chris did turn up, I had no concerns about the service provided. Having had several other people service the heating system over the years, no one had commented on a number of "potential problems" for the future, which Chris spoke about. He was also keen to point out work that did not need to be carried out.

A very efficient service, with electronic billing and receipt.

We have used Shaw's previously and very happy with them.  Had no hesitation to call them in.   An awkward job with a burst pipe hidden by our loft room.  Gave friendly, very helpful advice and came out within 20 mins of our call.  Did a great job and we found the cost very reasonable in comparison with others in our area.   Recommended highly
