Lovely staff behind the bar and nice environment. We ordered starters and mains to have in the bar area. Starters came out quickly. Mains took an age. Both mains cold. Rectified by reheating. Steak ordered well done, came out cremated and was not edible. Staff quick to refund meal... All we wanted was a hot dinner served in a decent time. As per previous reviews, needs more staff to be able to quantify the prices and size of restaurant. A table of four was turned away at 1945....

We had to sit in the bar area, because the main restaurant was fully booked. We seemed to be an inconvenience to the staff when we asked for plates for our starter and we had to get our own cutlery. I understand that we had to get our own drinks from the bar, but I think this is unacceptable. Im sure the staff would have made more of an effort in the restaurant area where they knew they would have received tips from the customers.

Had a lovely meal with here with my family last month. The staff were very attentive and the food was very good. Exceeded my expectations of a pub lunch! Would definitely return!
