Party of 12 booked for 18/08/2024, to celebrate a 21st Birthday. The staff our lovely, so helpful and kind. Really felt looked after and the food was delicious. Nice decor inside and pretty good food but the service was sooo slow considering there were only 3 tables being served. We had to flag their attention many times and caught them on their phones ignoring the restaurant. Not a good look or service. Pretty reasonable prices and a nice free drink at the end.Food: 4/5
The food is good at Shampan, it's solid Indian food. It's good. It's not warm in the restaurant though. But the big issue is the service. Arrived at 5.30 and were finally served mains at 7.15. Repeatedly asked if we could order. 4 or 5 guys wandering about. Tbh completely ruined the evening. We wanted to eat around 6 and be out for just after 7. We left at 8.30 after a 5.30 booking. Honestly it was a joke. It would have been lovely if we didn't have plans later in the evening. So by all means go but expect the be there 2-3 hours and pack some sandwiches.
A brilliant place to dine with excellent taste of food. It was nicely decorated with spacious rooms for eating. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to anyone who loves this type of food. Parking: No issues. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access.
Been to this restaurant a few times, but as I was back in my hometown I decided to give it a revisit and I was certainly not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff are always so friendly and easy to talk to. The service was perfect and I couldn’t recommend a better Indian in the area.Food: 5/5
I had a takeaway, the staff were very friendly and efficient. If I had been in the restaurant I'd have returned the meal as it was dreadful. I was however at home when I realised how tasteless, watered down and rubbery chicken it was. Never say never but never againFood: 1/5
AWFUL EXPERIENCE ! Over 2 hours' wait for food when arrived wasn't anything special. Shocking service definitely won't be returning .To save wasting time head to Passage to India Crewe will not be disappointed like this absolute shambles!Food: 1/5
Been a few years since I've been here and I was very surprised with the revamp...very nice indeed, well thought out. Service was excellent as was the food and very well priced. We did have a group of guys in who were very loud and not so carefull with their choice of language, staff apologised to us...its pot luck who turns up at your resteraunt. Will deffinately be returning. Vegetarian options: You can tweek your choices easily to suit your taste.
Amazing! Four of us had dinner here on Friday, 2nd February 2024. We all had different starters and main meals but thoroughly enjoyed our food. The staff are friendly and attentive. All in all, a great dining experience and we will definitely return again very soon!
Dropped in for a take-away. While we waited the owner insisted that we have a drink. Wouldn't take no for an answer. That's the kind of insistence I like! Chatted with us while the food was prepared as though we'd been a dozen times. Food was excellent, tasty, good value and big enough servings that we had two meals out of it. If we're in the area this place will definitely have our custom again.
