The place was interesting since you get to walk around to see the footprint of what was the building. Unfortunately there is no physical building left, but the garden was nice. The introduction talk really gave it perspective and the guide was engaging. Went on a Monday, 11:30am entry was fast and quiet. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to buy the tickets by itself if it weren't included in the package.
It was a nice experience. Had a tour guide talking me and a small group of people through the tour. I went in 2018 and it was a package deal that came with the ticket. I believe it was about 3 of the Shakespeare houses for around £25. I really do recommend it whenever they are open even if it's just to view one or two houses. Great insight into Tudor times and the town has many old buildings that make you feel like you stepped back centuries into the past. It's really lovely.
Such a beautiful place to visit in the city of Stratford upon Avon. There are lots of rich culture and history to immerse yourself in. Although, there is no physical structure of the house, traces of its memory are found all over the place. Many wonderful and knowledgeable guides to assist you and inform you about the amazing life Shakespeare’s had. There’s also a museum next door where you can find more interesting artefacts and you can also buy souvenirs.

Lovely building, gorgeous gardens but expensive
Brilliant! Make sure you buy the all access pass so you can visit all the other properties - otherwise it's quite expensive. Really good access for people with mobility difficulties. Beautiful gardens and sculptures - interesting and well designed exhibitions. Staff were brilliant - helpful, positive but not intrusive. Good modern, clean accessible toilets. Highly recommended.
Lovely gardens with amazing flower beds and self guided talking points all over the garden. This was the best visit of all the Shakespeare places, including Anne Hathaways cottage and Shakespeare's birthplace. The guide inside the building was very knowledgeable and the exhibition upstairs was well worth the walk thru with a more relaxed info sharing section and little play areas for younger visitors
Tickets should be purchased in advance. Inventive exhibits inside and exquisite gardens outside. The gardens are full of interesting statues to contemplate and many have corresponding quotes from The Bard. The gardens are well suited to fans but there are some creative and engaging activities for children inside the building.
Very nice garden, but the house itself just a layout. Guide was very friendly and informative.
Really interesting place. Would help to know though that his house is not there.. and hasn't been for many years! But taking it as more of an artists space to display works representing his life it is lovely to walk around as a start to learning more about Shakespeare and his works
