Had a great time with family. Got all we asked for a night out with the whole family. Nice atmosphere friendly staff. But the best bit was that every one came back happy and full. As kids can be picky with spice and we adults like the food to have a little more flavour and spices. Something for everyone. The new menu offers a lot more, and for sure is value for money . Would for sure go back soon.
When I was living in slough I used to eat here 4 times a week. Its still the best Indian food I have ever had and the owner is a lovely guy. Hope you remember me lol you thought I was a action movie star. Good times. God bless my friend.
Have been here recently with my wife and friends....Service was great.... Two options as far as food goes, buffet or order from the menu. We chose the menu option and weren't disappointed. The food was fantastic! One of our group requested something that was not on the menu, the owner organised it to be cooked, excellent service!! Value for money, what you would expect for a restaurant!! Overall great place to eat!!
I am not local to Slough although went first time a year ago for lunch with a friend and found to be very good. Tried again this time for evening buffet, so two families and youngsters. Great selection and quality, freshly made food flows out of the kitchen, staff attentive and keen to help. Evening went very well everyone enjoyed and would definately go back. 8 incl 2 under 12's people = £85 including starters, mains, deserts and soft drinks.
The food is beautiful here, the biryani perfectly prepared, the various curries and dishes are wonderfully made, each one distinct from the next. There are the chutneys, Dahl's, the sauces; I was spoilt for choice and it was something to behold on the plate. Staff were very friendly and chatty to myself, they seemed more surprised I was a sole buffeteer than part of a group, but I enjoyed the atmosphere, the charming lingo and the music made the evening more desirable. All in all, it came recommended by a friend, now it'll be my go-to for exceptional Indian food by the dish. A very well done.
4 of us went from work for a lunch. Food was not quiet ready at 12:15, but it was fresh. All standard curry house fare with a good selection of starters, dips and sauces, 7 meat based curries and a selection of vegetable and saag. Various sweets, fruit and ice cream to finish. Excellent value for £7 with no waiting and no fuss.
Dry and old food, Not good at all, dinner overpriced not worth even £6. Aviod and go. check ur bill before paying. Never seen child policy like this restaurant. Child more then 10 they charge as adult. Only good thing waiting staff was good.
This is my first restaurant review. I never felt like writing, but today I was really disgusted by this restaurant that I had to write one. Let’s talk about the food; Paya had bunch of hairs not a one or two, literally it was a bunch; Chicken Tikka was uncooked; Poppadum was smelly maybe because of the bad oil. When we complained to the manager she was like you should expect hair in the Paya and for the rest of the complaint, her answer was “100 people ate here yesterday and today no one complained”. The restaurant manager and waitress bear no manner towards the customers. It was the most embarrassing moment of my life to have it visited with my family. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant. I really don't know why they spoil the name of the halal cuisines and their reputation by hiring such a pathetic staff. Update 09/12/2014.. See the reply to my review from this restaurant.!!!!! My response to your answer--- My above review sounds racist to you? really!!! Where have I mentioned that having a halal cuisines I meant was food and just a food, not a region, race, religion or country at your restaurant mean you should hire only Muslim staff. I included your manager who was muslim with waitress, both were arrogant and incompetent Please read reviews from other customers on tripadvisor. After reading your response I feel more disgusted.
Been here a few times and can't complain. Always love a place that is consistent. The food is authentic and very tasty, the service has always been warm and friendly.
Never again. Over priced hardly any good dishes .argued because was billed for a child that had only one chip of my plate .way to spicy for even me . The spice rating signs are wrong .
