I would say without a doubt the best restaurant on Southall Broadway. Had a mixed grill, masala lamb chops curry, Tawa Chickenrecommended by the staff and a samosa chaat. The food quality was very very good. Fresh naan, and the taste was better than any of the other restaurants on the Broadway. The service was very good, and thumbs up for the complimentary tea. Unfortunately took some partially eaten food photos.
Yes, space is at premium especially if you are with kids and pram. But they really helped to make some space for us and to park the pram. I haven't tasted Pakistani food before but we absolutely liked it. Not too hot but on the spicier side. Portions are large enough and the price is reasonable considering the amount and quality. Not many choices of dessert but you might be full up to have any. Would go their again
Went to Baithak during our visit to southall. My first time eating there but my mum and sister have been there before. I have too say I really enjoyed my food, the staff are kind and friendly, and the restaurant is actually clean! Which some rarely are. My food was tasty, preparation of the food service was a little slow, but not a huge downside. Other than that, enjoyed my food and will return again. P.S make sure you try the coconut nan it's so tasty! :
Narrow space. Fantastic and friendly service. Good food, small portion sizes. I wouldn't say it's the best of its kind of food but it was satisfying. The kabali rice was not the best. Good price food for London and great family environment
Service was excellent. We had a twenty minute wait for our starter as everything is made fresh to order. The mains arrived just as we were eagerly polishing off the amazing mixed grill. The fragrant biryani alone is worth the trip. The naan were light and fluffy and complemented the tangy charsi chicken perfectly.
I came to London for a break with the family. We decided to go Southall for food. Walking past this place till I came across the staff who invited us in and said try our desi food etc pakstanis style. So we went in food took a while which I understand is cooked fresh worth the wait. So we ordered Mix grill portion was big but very very salty which I'm not use to at all. Complained and all they said it was lemon juice that makes it like that. Honestly????? I wasn't satisfied the wife had two bites and left it.
Food is pricey and average taste when you compare it with other restaurants on same road
Terrible place. Service slow. Dont go for the chicken ir lamb kerhai. £18 for a half a kilo portion. Full of bones and fat. Sauce was like a can of tomatoes. Asked for mild kebab rolls and they flooded it with chili sauce.
Me and my sister went to Southall to shop for clothes, on the way we decided to go into resturant because the griled food option looked good. We enjoyed papri chaart which I highly recommend, and Chapli kebab was cooked to perfection. I also tried the grilled chicken which had that lovely barbecue touch to it. The fish pakorahs were also very nice, I don't usually eat fish but I loved them I will try to visit next time i come to southhall
The restaurant was promoted well by the staff however it all went downhill. I received water which was dirty as it was in a bottle which had not been cleaned . When we receive the food the food was really really bad. the starter which was inclined on us to order was a fish chargrilled dish and it was burnt and the spicing was all incorrect. we had a cheesy naan which was the only highlight of the experience and the Afghani nun which was ok and we had the lamb brain dish and Halim. The Halim was sticky the texture was all wrong I have made halim a lot before when I used to work and this was a nothing compared to the Halim that I used to make. The lamb brain was a decent dish it's very difficult to get that right but somehow kudos to the chef he did. We didn't finish are men all the starter as they were both unable to eat when we decided to get the Afghani naan to takeaway the staff member had held the man with his bare hands which I think it was one inappropriate and very very off putting we ended up throwing the nun away. All in all it was a very bad experience and I don't think I will ever go there again but I do think there is a lot of room for improvement and up until that happens I don't think I will ever even attempt to be in that restaurant again.
