We are new to the area and sampling all curry restaurants in the area. This is up there with the best. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and accomodating. The restaurant is cosy and comfortable. The food is absolutely amazing, fresh and full of flavour. The prawn puree was exceptional, lovely touch adding tamarind sauce on the side. We tried some of the Nepalese dishes, we weren't disappointed, deep and rich in flavour and the vegetable sides were a delicious. The staff offered a complimentary drink at the end. Note free car parking on site. All in all a wonderful evening, we will definitely be back again. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and vegan option on the menu. Parking: Free parking in local car car park. Less then 20 seconds from parking to restaurant.
Really good experience. Lost in translation but loved the family and friendly atmosphere. The service comes with a smile which it replaces the lack of language. Food is amazing and the chutneys are homemade. Highly recommended!
Was hard to find a decent restaurant in Bracknell but dropped on this place. We had been working out of town and arrived not far from closing, the staff could not be more helpful and made us feel really welcome, the food was stunning really couldn’t recommend it enough, we went back home to hull with fond memories of this place. Had a lovely meal here last weekend for 8 of us. Food was lovely and staff extremely friendly service was great considering how busy they were.
Such lovely people, we will 100% be coming back!! The staff there were so helpful, talked us through dishes and what they recommended, as well as there being a great deal on Thursday nights so v affordable, overall great food and great people xx
It was a quiet time when we went for dinner. To be fair, the reviews for this place were great. Personally I did not like the food served nor the service. There was a huge delay for the food to arrive. The food was not great and we left behind most of what was ordered. It was probably a one off. Will give it a try again as the reviews were pretty decent. First time was definitely a bad experience.
I like very hot curry's sadly this was missing from my Garlic chilli chicken, also ordered a nan bread well done this was delivered under cooked no scorch marks on it Chicken pakora starter, Batter was wet not crisp, on a positive food arrived very quickly but tasteless & bland shan't be ordering again.Food: 1/5
Had family meal last night 7th January 2023 at the Shahi it was very enjoyable the restaurant serves lovely food and the staff are so friendly, pleasant and helpful they try really hard to please. I would definitely go back again great evening great food thank you Shahi staff. Peter
Partnered with 'Thai Kitchen' in Crown Row. Shahi number is linked to Thai Kitchen on deliveroo. When I called Thai Kitchen, they told me to contact Shahi. Food is the worst takeaway I've experienced. 45 minutes late. Stone cold and I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. Paid for a Beef pad sew. No noodles, just watery, stone cold beef. When I called to complain on the number on deliveroo, they said they're a different restaurant. Found another number on Google, they said the other restaurant 'The Shahi' cooks it for them and then they hung up. Expensive dog food at best. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT.
