Fantastic little cafe. My husband and I often pop in to grab a takeaway coffee while walking our dogs and the staff are always so friendly. They remember our order too, which is excellent customer service! If you're eating in, the food is delicious and service is prompt. Half of the cafe is dog-friendly, whatever the weather, and it's always busy which is the sign of a good place. 100% recommend!
Really nice place for breakfast / brunch. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The location is also excellent, a hidden gem!nnThe food was excellent, I had a bacon sausage and egg baguette and it was really good. Also had chips and they were great as well.nnPeople I came with had jacket Potato with tuna and the porridge they kindly made with soya milk.nnCouldn’t fault it. Thanks very much
The perfect cafe to stop with friends or, as I often do, come alone. The staff are lovely and the food is excellent. I am dairy and gluten intolerant and there is always something for me to eat. It’s a great place to break up a sea walk. We have needed something like this in the area, so glad it arrived. There is also the added attraction of the Heritage Museum-well worth a visit.nnDogs are welcome and have their own area.
Nice location and really friendly staff! Great atmosphere and feels super comfortable. Not a huge fan of the food, tastes a bit frozen and cheap considering the price... not good if you're looking for good value food but for a coffee and meeting friends it's great...and dog friendly!!
The cafe is large and offers two sides, one for/with dogs and one without. It is quite spacious and there is a section that provides a little museum of the heritage of the restaurant and the grounds that the restaurant is on. My brother had a good size breakfast and I had a mushroom omelette with bubble and squeak on the side. With both had a cuppa, it was near cut off time as they stop serving hot food at 3pm. I thought it was a little expensive for lunch for two people £30, but maybe that is effect of the cost of living these days. The second time I have been and the service was not too bad, we had to wait a while for our drinks but once the lady realised we got everything in due course and not much waiting at all. The staff were welcoming and polite it was a nice atmosphere. It is a place that I have recommended.
