Con Artists, avoid at all costs. I ordered glasses on 24 August , they promised they will deliver in 7-10 working days. its been over 14 working days and over 3 weeks and I have not received the goods. When I asked for the refund they said they cannot issue refund because they had not received the goods back from their own delivery company. The item was never delivered to me, so they are making their business partner's problem my problem and refusing to refund my money until the item arrives back to them as if it is my problem. Effectively neither delivering goods nor refunding my money. I am very busy with work and it has been a hell calling them every second day chasing them, and it has been lies upon lies. who knows if they even sent the item. Who knows if all the good reviews are not fake. Avoid them at all costs. I am now having to take my claim to small claims court/Money claim online
I actually preferred buying from here then my local opticians! The obvious difference is the whole try before you buy but they do a trial service. The glasses I got fit perfectly, prescription on point and much cheaper than the equivalent high Street brand. Another note, I have a complex prescription but it seems selectspecs had no issues with them!
With the rising cost of glasses on the High Street -I thought with just a little trepidation ! that I would try buying on line. I checked out WHICH MAGAZINE who recommended SELECTSPECS and I am delighted with the glasses they produced. Smart , stylish and very accurate they are superb and cost a lot less than I paid last time from a well known High Street name. I will certainly be using them again !!
I received my glasses, they are just perfect! Amazing quality and excellent service by your wonderful team. You have saved me hundreds of pounds if I had gone to my optician! I can’t thank you enough and have told all my family, friends and colleagues about your wonderful company and excellent high quality service!
After waiting over 2 almost 3 weeks when I paid extra for 2-3 day delivery, the lenses on them are very poor quality, they are constantly cloudy, I'm cleaning them all the time and they never seem to clean properly! I won't buy from here again, and l won't be recommending them to anyone else either.
Poor customer service I order the next day option where I paid the extra for both glasses and lenses glasses. I need asap. Then I called today there be with me in 7 days. Had to cancel my order it's not cheap to buy glasses at that cost. Customer services not very pleasant telling let them speak when I was talking. Be wary where you spend your money.
Easy enough to order, but a month later still not received. Yodel say they’ve attempted delivery & left a card. Given I was watching the tracker @ home so I could anticipate arrival and I went from 35 stops until mine to sorry we missed you. Not impressed. The thing that has annoyed me is Select Soecs won’t accept any accountability- Yodel is their chosen courier, but when there’s an issue they don’t care. They won’t offer a refund & it seems I now have to drive a 50m round trip to collect them. Not a chance.
Had a bad experience with this company last year - ordered prescription sunglasses and was told a week later that they were no longer stocked. After delays at every stage it took 3 weeks to get the glasses and they were not delivered in time for a holiday. Tried again with them and was able to order two pairs of glasses, only to be told 2 days later that they are no longer stocked and that I should 'respond to choose an alternative in their collection'.
Absolutely love my new glasses. My order was dealt with quickly and I was kept updated throughout with the progress of my order. Would recommend to friends without hesitation.
Do not buy from here Worst company ever Took 6 weeks for my order to arrive and when arrived not my correct perscription in the glasses This is not true It is not my perscription as I can barely see out of the glasses you send me! Your customer service is appalling
