Been here for laser hair removal and the results have been amazing! The staff are super friendly and my confidence has shot up. So pleased with it all!
Awful experience. I bought a voucher on Groupon and then over the course of a month I tried to arrange my first appointment with no success. I sent 4 emails only the first one was answered asking when I would like to book for but I got no replies after that. I called multiple times on multiple days, and I even went in person to try an arrange an appointment with someone who worked there, but got no reply when ringing the bell twice so I couldn't get into the building to see someone. This was all done during working hours and days. I'm starting to wonder if this company exists and I am confused as to how it has a lot of good reviews... And the treatments they offer aren't cheap. So I have had to ask for a refund from Groupon. Disappointing.
Absolutely aweful! Feel ripped off I paid in December. Received 1 treatment in January and was told 5 days before my 2nd appointment in january that the machine broke. No contact. No update and no explanation why they took my money knowing they were going bust and out of business either that or they just can't be arsed answering the bloody door or phone. Bearing in mind I have contacted them non stop and left voicemails.
I would give 0 stars if I could!! Used to attend this laser clinic and the girls were amazing so my mum took it upon herself to book more courses as my Christmas present. I have literally been blanked when trying to book in and given every excuse under the sun- the girls have left, the laser machine needs parts and I even got an email saying they’re closing which the clinic denied but can’t get back to me with any other information! I think it’s clear that they are closing down but will not refund any customers which in my eyes is robbery especially straight after Christmas I am disgusted.
I am absolutely appalled by how the management have left everyone in the lurch. I paid for 6 sessions and only received 2. I've since found out from someone else who has lost hundreds of pounds to these thieves that the machine broke in December and because the management didn't want to pay to fix it they sacked the staff and closed the office. I passed by the other day to see if this was true and the office was all locked up, the lights off, and the sign taken down. If you have been robbed by these people I suggest you go to your bank ASAP and try and get your money back trough them because you're never getting it back from Skin Destination.
Was great at first, then they cancelled my appointment, stopped answering phone calls and emails, and deleted their Facebook and Instagram pages. Currently trying to get my money back through a credit card chargeback.
This is a scam I have bought 2 treatments each of 6 sessions for £200. Then thay start to postpone appointments and now I understand that thay no longer exists.
Samantha at skin destination is great. I was asking loads of questions before having hair removal and she was so helpful. She puts you at great ease and I can’t wait to see my results of my full course. I mean this at the time but now they have just closed the shop and not refunding anyone for sessions that are pre booked.
It’s took me a while to write this review as I wanted to make sure of my end results. First the good stuff the staff are friendly and the facilities are very clean and tidy the machine does not hurt at all. However, the laser hair removal for me was a massive disappointment. I paid for 6 sessions of Hollywood and underarm costing almost £350 offer on at time of booking I went for the consultation and was told I am suitable candidate. After completing all 6 sessions and following all pre and post care advice I am sad to say that it’s like I never had the treatments done. I am back to shaving at least twice a week and still getting razor rash and ingrown hairs which is why I wanted laser hair removal. The ladies at salon offered to give me another 6 sessions for the same £350, but there is absolutely no way I would pay that amount again when it has not worked after the first 6 sessions! I do feel like I may as well have just put my money down the drain. It is a massive disappointment as I used savings to have this done in the hope and understanding that there would be a massive reduction in hair growth after the 6 treatments. Be careful when signing up for this treatment as even though I was deemed suitable for this procedure it did not work at all. I can’t even say there has been a reduction in the hair or patches where it has worked as it hasn’t at all. It’s a shame.
I’ve had 9 sessions of laser hair removal and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. The clinic is nice and clean, the girls are knowledgable, professional and put you at ease and the results are fab. Would highly recommend!
