On a visit, quite a while ago, I was pleasantly surprised by the farm shop style pie, that I got from a specialist "pie man", that was hanging around near this location. Decent selection, pork, pork & apple, chorizo, chicken etc .. Would recommend his pies, if he's a regular.
Went there for football match with grandson nice pitch plenty of parking and very nice grounds and club house.
Lots of football and cricket to top things off they now have a new community club house which is superb
My son played football here, great facility for football, and looked like cricket as well.
Went for a stroll. Too many people in fancy dress & face paint.
A good park, with a very good football facility
Strong park, but not quite as strong as Marsden park.
Watch out for the burly man carrying a crate of pies. He doesn't like plant eaters!
Good for a short walk but take some boots. Look all places that are semi urban the paths are very well walked. The views are good and it would be very good on a hot day. I have lived in the area for years and had never been here. It was a nice surprise to find it. There are booting sheds around so would imagine that when the weather's nicer, you can get out on the lake also
Great for dog walking.
