A popular location. Good facilities and selection of food and refreshments including ice cream. They take contactless payments unlike the car park which in my opinion overpriced and unnecessary. The Access to the beach is difficult and if you struggle walking in sand on a steep slip this is not the place to visit. Beach is lovely and dog friendly. We saw a seal swimming close to us which made our day. Would I go back,,,, not too sure..
Refreshing little café overlooking a nice breach and hiking trails. Hot and cold foods, including vegan and vegetarian options, and hot and cold beverages. Parking, although not free, is good, but probably very limited in the summer.nVery dog friendly.
What a lovely addition to Winterton! Dog friendly inside, plenty of seating for a cuppa and a book by the beach. It’s a shame to see Winterton crumbling away, with parts of the road strewn across the beach.nThe hut is wonderful, with teas and coffees, decaf, and a GREAT selection of cakes and treats, including gluten free and vegan options. They also had jackets and other hot food available. Toilets are just across the road. Dog bowls of water are dotted about and seats inside have cushions and are a comfy place to perch; watch out for the hanging baskets above the table as I think I knocked my head on them no fewer than two times, and I’m not very tall!nnCar parking: You pay for parking at the hut now, just walk up and say how many hours you’d like to stay, they no longer use the little cabin at the front taking money as you come in.nnVeeeery dog friendly. If your dog is a bit nervous, be aware that there will be many other dogs around.
We were desperate to find somewhere open to eat. Stumbled upon this location. Very pleased with the food. Open air seating but it was a hot sunny day so was OK. Lots of dogs with their owners including us. Public toilets are a short walk across the road and the fantastic unspoilt beach was just across the car park. Only downside was having to pay to park the car. Was just on grass and or hard soil so really IMO paying for no reason.
Always have nothing but good things to say about this place.nnIt's popular, it always delivers, it's a must visit.nnIt's nice to see it grow from when I first visited around Christmas time last year to each time since.nnRecommend.. yes I do...nnThrive Radio
