Great Baddow Barn is a hungry horse pub, so of you've been there you know what to expect of the food. It's quick, tasty and large portions. The menu is quote varied and it has the drinks you'd expect. Where this restaurant is different is the location. The barn itself is lovely, and very well kept architecturally. It also has a great play area outside and ample seating. Definitely worth a visit if you fancy a prompt meal, and a lovely location.
First visit for me and family. We went on a Saturday and got a good deal on the mix it up. We ordered 4 adult meals and 1 small child. I had the rump steak, Will definitely go again
Lovely place for lunch and dinner with children. Wheel chair accessible. Great selection of food and drinks for children and adults. There is an indoor and outdoor play area. The indoor play area is currently shut due to issue and no indication how long for.
The decor. Atmosphere was gorgeous. Very clean and the staff were very polite! I saw a female member of staff ask someone for ID he didn't have it and she stuck to her guns. Despite his attitude which was brilliant to see! She stayed professional and polite. The food was so good! I will 100% be returning

Fantastic value for money! A group of my friends had a lunchtime gathering and found out it was Curry Wednesday. £6.50 for a curry choice of 4 with trimmings plus a pint! We went "large" for an extra £3 and got more of everything 3 onion bhajis 2 poppadoms, chapati, rice and chips plus chutneys! Good quality for pub grub as well as quantity. Friendly service as always too. Well done!
Fantastic service today by Cat who was working the bar, usual busy but worked with the customers like a charm. Very polite, clearly hard working and well presented as well as knowledgeable on products, all with added service with a smile! A credit to the team! We've been comming here for years, always been great regardless of the the time of year/the time in any given day.
Glad I chose the Lasagna, couldn't have coped with the alternative plate fulls. Value for money, prompt service and tasty food. Kids menu came in handy when it came to downsizing my Dessert choice.
This used to be our favorite place, but after finding a long hair on my plate last Friday, we will never go again!!! The food is great, but the service and the tables are terribly dirty. We always had to ask someone from the staff to clean our table, because if we don't ask for cleaning they directly put the plates and they don't care.
