Calamari is disappointing both portion and taste when comparing to the same starter at Bella Italia and Pizza Express nearby. But the other 2 pasta are excellent, especially Ravioli, I finished it all which is quite unusual. Staff are also friendly. You can make the order with staff or online with your mobile phone. I have ordered the drinks with the staff and ordered food with their website. But I have problem with payment with the website so I finally paying using the traditional way with the staff.
Really nice food but not at all impressed by the service. Although our waitress was really friendly, it was 20 minutes before we had our drinks order taken. We weren’t sure whether to order via the QR code or not the staff seemed indecisive and our food order came in dribs and drabs. The maître d was very rude when we enquired about the wait time and the staff were also rude when we questioned the tip. Very disappointing overall as the good was really good. The staff seemed much more concerned with the takeaway orders rather than the in-house diners.
Very nice restaurant and enjoyed a lovely pizza. Only downside , our reserved table wasn't ready, it was full of dirty crockery! Not what you're expecting on your first visit. Friendly staff and nice inside too Vegetarian options: I had the veggie pizza and it was huge and full of veggies Parking: Free after 8pm
Ignored when we entered, waited over an hour for food. Customer service was poor with no one coming over to update us on the delay or apologise. I felt like going over to the prep area and brining my own food over as I could see it waiting to be brought over to us for over 10 mins. Food was luke warm when it finally arrived.
A fairly basic experience , but was surprised when at 21h00 we asked for a coffee and was told no as the machine has been cleaned because we close at 22h00 ! Most people like to finish a meal with a coffee so shutting down the coffee machine an hour before closure doesn't seem very customer focused
Nice Italian restaurant with good food, drinks and service. Plenty of tables but not cramped. I had the Wild Boar Meatballs Al Forno which were lovely. They also coped easily with our party of 12 and service times were just right. Recommended for a nice meal.
Food was great however service was terrible. Have been here in the past with no problems however this particular visit felt extremely cold, unwelcoming and uncomfortable. Husband made a reservation for mothers day weekend, upon arrival and throughout we were greeted as though we were an inconvenience. Only 1 out of 4 waiters who we spoke to felt genuinely happy to serve us. Felt as though our main waiter was ignoring our table for quite a while once we had finished eating despite attempts to get his attention. We requested from another waitress to clear the table and she also seemed unhappy to speak to us. Eventually we were served by a third waiter who was fairly pleasant in comparison. Could not however quite pin point why we were being treated this way as felt as though we had offended someone however upon looking at some other reviews can see our experience is not unique. Odd experience which made my mothers day treat a little sad and disapointing.
Very poor maitre d who ignored our arrival, then made us wait even longer at the door whilst he input an order before waving us to a table then pointedly asked us to order via the app! Not impressed by being asked "you don't have any allergies do you?" Or the huffy response to being asked for a takeaway box. Service v slow & food average. Go elsewhere!
Two weeks in a row, last week outstanding service, flawless, excellent service from young gentleman at the front, food hot, tasty. This week a little bit different, ladies serving not on their best day, food wasn't as good as last week, a bit of waiting time.
We travelled into Telford yesterday for my mum and dad's anniversary meal at Zizzi's - we'd never been there before but it's now one of my favourite restaurants! The main reason is because they have a whole dairy-free menu even a dairy-free chocolate dessert! and the staff are really friendly and go out of their way to make your meal just right. There's even an open kitchen where you can see your pizza being made from scratch and go into the pizza oven So I can highly recommend Zizzi's for anyone who is dairy- or gluten-free, to be able to go somewhere and have a 'normal' meal for once! Bottom line: Excellent service, delicious food and spotless facilities, we are definitely coming back!
