Amazingly chilled and welcoming. The Scrumpy Willow is one of my favourite places to go in Newcastle. Friendly staff, cheap as chips and an amazing chef. Perfect for vegans like myself, I highly recommend the vegan apple crumble with vegan ice cream, it is to DIE FOR! The lentil dahl is also top class along with their herbal teas. Perfect for lunch or an evening meal with wine. Love this place, please pay it a visit!
This cafe does great omlettes. They also have a good selection of vegan and vegetarian food, including tasty cakes and scones. The service is friendly and while there's a bit of a wait for food because it's all cooked fresh it's not too long. If you like fresh, local food I highly recommend it.
Lovely eggs benidict and great coffee. Staff very friendly.
Literally the cutest little area. The owner is the sweetest person ever. Really enjoyed the hallomi sandwich I had I think. They also have a great selection of drinks. Really loved it. Had to take my friend with me the next day.
Great food in a cozy setting. Very welcoming and warm staff, plus lots of vegan/vegetarian friendly options. The vegan breakfast is a must try!
The place is rather poncey. The full english consists of 2 thin sausages, 1 rather of bacon, a poached egg, chopped tomates mixed together, expired toast. I had two teas and both meant to be the same type but they tasted very different. cost less than £10 but the quality really is seriously lacking. never again
Didn't actually realise this place was veggie when I walked in but they did have some meat options too. Loads of eclectic choices so something for everyone, and friendly service. Always so nice to have veggie options you wouldn't see elsewhere. Thanks!
Popped in for lunch one day. I had a latte and a cheese and pepper sandwich. I kind of expected it to come toasted, as in most cafes, but it was in cold bread. Not that it mattered though because it tasted womderful and the bread was awesome. Decor was rather quirky and service a little absent minded but it didn't really matter.
One of my favourite restaurants in Newcastle - gorgeous, healthy food and friendly service. The new cheesecake is definitely recommended, plus the Kelpie beer!
Great selection of veggie and vegan meals. Only gripe is that my portion could've been a little bigger but it was still lush.
