Friendly, efficient staff. Easy to order online and collect in store. Carries or can supply an extensive range of goods construction, maintenance, electrical, fixtures, fittings, etc.. Conveniently located with plenty of dedicated parking.
Place my order on line I did a click & collect. Got a text when my order was ready. Had no problems getting my order at store just show payment card and that's you. Prices are very reasonable and staff very friendly.
I urgently needed a built-in bin to replace a low quality one which broke a week before Christmas, jamming the cupboard door, so I went online and found just what I wanted at Screwfix, which was obviously of better quality than the one I had and hardly, if at all, more expensive. I ordered it on the Friday night I had looked into collecting it and was offered the Greenock store 4 miles away - well, it is 4 miles away, but only if you swim or fly across the Clyde Estuary, by car it's more like 30 miles so I opted for delivery, £5, not excessive to arrive by 6pm the following Monday. To my delighted surprise it arrived the Saturday am, and I was able to fit it the same afternoon. The instructions were good, tho it took me a while to figure out that the first 2 drawings were of using the instruction sheet as a template. It is clearly of much better quality than my previous one, and the mechanism for the lid is ingenious. I am absolutely delighted, both with the bin itself, the price and the speed and efficiency of delivery,
