Visited here a number of times as the pies are great. Staff are friendly enough and the seating is large enough for a family to sit together.
A small step to get into here but definitely worth it. Service is fast and this eating joint is popular.
There is a take out service if there is no seating available.
There are other options apart from pie and mash but this is their forte.
Only downside which brings the rating down from 5 stars to 4 is not being able to use the toilet. The only exception was when I was heavily pregnant and I was allowed to use it which was kind but prevented puddles.
But on a serious note, well worth a visit but go off peak times as it is popular and all eating including outside is taken.

Yum is about all anybody can say about pie n mash except maybe another couple of yums lol

Lacklustre pies. The filling was plain and substandard. Mash was good and so was the liquor sauce which is why they get two stars. Service was good, but not enough to make up for the second rate pies.
