Really just visited The Rockabilly Diner here for a meal. All American themed as advertised. Sumptuous helpings. I had a chicken burrito. Lovely!Service: 4/5
Excellent wee hidden gem, good bands play here most Saturday nights, good choice of beers and spirits and everyone should try their famous Moonshine at least once. Also a fantastic American diner serving a range of grub including fried chicken and burgers. Well worth a visit.
Visited the diner last Sat with my partner after hearing great things.Thoroughly disappointed. We were given the menu after waiting almost 10 mins.Waitress never took our drinks order but instead stood at the bar chatting to another woman.We waited at least another 15 mins but she still didn't approach us.Another couple at the next table got the same treatment.Annoyed at such shabby service we all decided to leave and take our custom elsewhere.As we stood up she suddenly became interested and told us they were short staffed.Not good enough and a very feeble excuse .As we were leaving another disgruntled customer was told they were " too busy" to make their children's dessert! Shocking! This American style diner may look good and has a very interesting menu but the proof is in the pudding and for me this whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. Won't be returning.
Myself and my partners favourite bar on Bute. Always has amazing events/bands on... Great atmosphere and staff are excellent. Owners are genuine friendly people who care about the community and their customers... Make sure you experience the SKONK!! And whilst your there... check out their rocket rockabilly diner and it’s AMAZING food too!
Warm welcome, great food at reasonable prices. Great menu with something for everyone on there. Good selection of beers and spirits at the bar as well. If you choose wisely you'll catch some live music as well, what's not to love.
Fantastic place, delicious food served slowly as they were very busy but worth the wait brilliant atmosphere. Newish place run by a lovely family. We all 5 of us would totally recommend!!
Under new management. A family run business which has completely transformed the bar into an American style bar with live music usually at weekends. The restaurant and hotel rooms still being updated and should be up and running soon. A lively and enjoyable place with a great atmosphere supplied by friendly hosts Brody and Rima.

Just been in the newly opened diner and wow it is fabulous, decor is amazing, friendly staff. There is a huge range of food to choose from , I went for the Cajun chicken waffle sandwich which was piled high with goodies and more than hit the spot, I followed that up with deep fried cooky dough and ice cream , highly recommend you give the place a visit
Excellent service and fab atmosphere. The place is amazing to walk into and see, definitely worth a visit even for a quick drink just to see the decor......but once there one drink will turn into another the owner is so welcoming
