Quite expensive food wise. Portions were small and the food wasn't great. Ordered carrot soup, when it was coming out I was informed it was leek and potato. Not a big issue except the soup was as thick as wallpaper paste. Children's burger came in a granary bun but was a good size. There are supply issues a few things on the menu weren't available so I don't read too much into it. 3 small sausages with gravy that again was as thick as wall paper paste. Gravy tasted decent enough. Pizza was a good size for a kids portion and wasn't too bad. All meals came with a starter and a sweet. Sweets for the kids were great. Ice cream sundaes and pancakes. However, the staff were superb. Very friendly very helpful both within the kids area and in the main dining area. Cannot fault them. If the food was up to scratch it would be a very good place to go. What I would recommend is to bring the kids to the soft play which was only £3.50 each and have a refillable coffee or tea. 2 kids 3 course meals at a 5er each, 2 soft play entries and your 2 coffees coming in at a tad over a score. That's unbeatable especially on a Saturday afternoon!!
This is the poorest review I have ever given. The food is poor. The chicken goujon starter was...well can I say, rubbish!! The main which was Ultimate Yorkshire Pudding, which consists if mash potato, onion and sausage. Also a small jug of gravy, prepacked and pants. Brewers Fair need to up their game. Overall in my humble opinion I won't be rushing back. The reason for visit was work related. Vegetarian options: See menu. Kid-friendliness: Play Barn. Parking: Must register car if stopping at Premier Inn. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair access. Dietary restrictions: Check menu.
club sandwich was lovely kids meal was ok fish was soggy, tasteless, batter very pale and fish under batter still had skin on which was very off putting, skin on chips on all plates were lukewarm and soggy too very disappointing
I've stayed in many premier inns and have to say this was the best nights sleep I've had in any! It was so quiet and peaceful, unlike other locations. The food was typical Premier Inn pub restaurant but nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy and the water was nice and hot for the bath and shower. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for a business trip.
Party of seven four adults three kids Starters Two soups Two garlic mushrooms Three kids veg an mint dip Soup was cold as was garlic mushrooms all returned . Waitress returned one bowl of soup partially warm the two garlic mushrooms were floating in grease and the other soup cold .again returned I then said I’d have the garlic mushrooms while waiting on the garlic mushrooms my main course arrived along with the others food to then have my main course taken away while waiting on starter then my main was brought bk out while I’m eating my starter pfff . The chips on all our main course were cold I had the cheese burger as did one other adult the burger was so dry and tasteless . Had to keep asking for cutlery as none on table . Kids food was okay. Desserts were okay . Staff members weren’t the best either . Won’t be bk to eat as the whole experience was an absolute joke
We had a 5th birthday party here. The size of the soft play is perfect to be able to see your children and there is 2 staff on call to help. Food portions are decent, but sometimes there can be a slight wait if the restaurant is busy.Food: 5/5
I had a Sunday roast and it was excellent rst potatoes were brilliant and the gravy was goodFood: 5/5
My partner and I took our son and two grandchildren aged 3 and 18 months for a meal. Was extremely surprised to be told it was £3.50 per child for play area. 3 adult meals and 2 children's meals came to more than £60 without drinks. When paying this amount if money I would expect free entrance to play area. Our food was well under par. The chips were cold salad mainly just mixed leafs with 2 small bits of tomato and cucumber. The chicken was very tough. We were told our meals were being plated but it was 15 to 20 mins later before it was delivered to the table...probably why the chips were cold. Would not recommend this place to anyone and certainly will not be going back.
I am absolutely amazed - at 20:45 28th December we were approached by the barman to advise the beer pipes will be switched off to be cleaned shortly and no more beer will be available tonight - I said that’s not good for customer service and he said - that’s what I do - I have stopped in the hotel several times - and ate in the restaurant- I will not be back until customer service is key - why can’t then service be switched off when customers leave and the pub is closed ? Amazed is all I can say amazed. Edit - we were approached by the restaurant manager at breakfast this morning , and shesorry I never asked you name was very apologetic and explained that this was not normal practice and would speak to the barman - excellent speedy positive response - that’s all you can ask for - let’s hope lessons learned and no one else gets frustrated whilst relaxing after a meal. Thanks Brewers Fayre see you next time .
Only come to this place if you like to wait 30 to 45 minutes before your food arrives and if you like your order served cold. And if you if like your food, microwave to a pulp in order to heat your cold order. The so-called chef in this place should be ashamed and is an embarrassment to the word and title of "chef"Food: 1/5
