I was really impressed with the look and feel of the room. The whole room was spotless and smelled fresh and clean. I was pleased to see the window frame and sill were spotless too. The bathroom was pristine but we had a bit of trouble with slipping in the bath while taking our showers as there was no rubber bath mat. That's our only negative I was really happy that our room had air conditioning too. The beds were comfy and the duvets and pillows were lovely, soft and plump. The food in the pub/restaurant was delicious and it was a pleasant place to have dinner. All the staff especially the manager were very nice and friendly. We are already looking forward to returning in the near future, to this cosy, well looked after hotel.
Was back again tonight for dinner and wasn't disappointed. The young lady who was our server was very helpful,friendly and polite. All staff have great customer service and Leah remembered us from my daughters birthday dinner and when her fiancé proposed to her. Will be back soonService: 5/5
My stay here was amazing! So pleasant and such amazing staff! I enjoyed every minute of it. The cafeteria was always full of positive energy during breakfast thanks to Gael and Gio. This has been my best hotel experience in Scotland ever!
Hotel is good, staff friendly, easy location to access. Food in the restaurant is good but would prefer if at least the bar were open later and if the food service were quicker especially at breakfast.
Invited out for a meal, service slow desite it being more or less empty, did not bother with Sweet menu, wanted home tonight. Food was basic nothing to write home about. Will probably not keep this in my places to go, would probably avoid. Food & drinks: Basic.
Took the grandkids to Ravenscliff before going to the pantomime yesterday. They offered the adult menu. ‘Do you have a kids menu?’ ‘’Oh, do you want the kids menu as well?’ Well considering I’m sitting here with 2 kids - well f’kin aye. ‘I’ll bring them markers and crayons’. Had to go get it myself. Jess only wanted mac & cheese? - isn’t on the menu. There was also a list of other things on the menu that were not available.This is 5.30 pm FFS. ‘A FAMILY Restaurant? -does not even serve macaroni and cheese ? I Don’t f’kin think so. Won’t be back. What a great night wee had last night great break away for the night with the kids the hotel room was beautiful and very clean the food was amazing to and the staff are very welcome wee had an inuse with the heating but they fixt it right away for us I would highly recommend and definitely be stay againRooms: 5/5
Used to be a fantastic little restaurant. Went for a meal on Saturday and waited 40 minutes for 1 starter. My over half was only given a knife and no fork and when we asked about it they acknowledged it but never got round to getting him one . 2 out of the 3 mains were wrong, asked for 1 plain burger and was given salad and sauce, and 1 steak well done that came back rare. When mentioned at the bar about the steak, the woman came up and grabbed the plate with no apology. This meant that me and my partner ate and finished our meals with my mum having to wait for her steak which came back tough and chewy like it had been thrown in the microwave. They took the steak off the bill which was nice of them, but I just feel it wasn't a particularly enjoyable experience.
Very clean and tidy establishment. You can even bring in your dog which gets a warm feeling to the place as everyone starts conversing. Food was quick and warm. I had cheeseburger and chips washed with a Birra Moreti . Other dishes looked great so definitely will pay another visit. Prices are good value for what you get.
Came for dinner and brought my dog and what a great experience we had, all staff were very attentive and friendly nothing was to much of an issue for them. Especially Gayle went out of her way to attend to our dog and provide for her aswell. Would return again!
