Convenient location but fills up fast. It's not the cheapest in town but its the central location you pay for.
Just a short walk into town from here and handy if heading from the north/west side of Stamford. Around 60 spaces to park, as well as disabled parking available too.nPay via the machine with coins or via card. There's an app too if you wish to Phone & Pay as well.nRelatively priced for a town car park and free on Sunday's & Bank Holidays.
Car park fine its just that you do not have the option to pay by card.. Always have cash with you or you will have to call the number on the board to pay remotely.. Takes a good 5 minutes to navigate call. Forgot to say... Wait for the after text where you have to verify what you've already said or they will say you haven't completed the transaction and you will probably get a ticket!
Close to town centre and Waitrose, no height restrictions. Two at a squeeze parking spaces long enough to take a Motorhome under 8m - Stamford does not cater for non cars very well at all!! So this car park was a lucky find.
Card reader on ticket machine did not work, machine would not accept cash, wadted ages paying by phone. Council needs to improve ticket machine maintenance.
