Paid a fortune for a beef rib joint...over one hundred quid so I expected it to be fantastic. Alas it was extremely fatty and not at all succulent. I was really disappointed. At first I thought that it was just luck of the draw but then I realised that if you are selling high end produce your quality control should be spot on. Hopefully this may just be a one off but I certainly will never again be paying top dollar for essentially fat!!!

The finest butchers, in Liverpool, Woolton Village! Fabulous fresh turkeys, supplied with a pop up spike to show when it’s cooked! Boxed and presented beautifully. Home made various sausages, goat ?. We cannot fault The Scottish Butcher.
Visited for the first time today,bought burgers,sausages,gammon, chicken breast,minced lamb,lamb meatballs.just had a barbie with the burgers and sausage. Outstanding taste and quality,no fat dripping out
I mainly shop at the Rainhill shop, but been to both. The choice is wonderful and is always fresh and tasty. Beefburgers are to die for yum yum! Service is always first class. My go to butchers any day of the week.
The shop the service the product and the staff all wonderful.. I wish you all a Very Special Christmas. Today I spent in total 1hour 45 mins to collect my Christmas order , after queuing for an hour a message came down the line that orders could be collected orders at the side door, very sensible idea...however upon reaching the side door we where told it was not the case, so having lost my place in the queue I returned an hour later spent a further 45 minutes ... and took less than 4 minutes to collect and pay. Maybe next year have a pick up area for orders only. Stay well.
