Very very very disappointed with the whole experience. The battery on the fish was bigger than the fish. The pie was far over cooked in the display cabinet and the filling was very minimal. The savloy was cold and tasteless. Chips were plentiful........that's about all. Will never ever return. The food was awful.
Lovely food that comes with wonderful service. The fish was hot and fresh and all served at the same time. Fish and chips is priced together and portioned well. Will definitely be returning.Food: 5/5

I enjoy sitting in the small seated area attached to the side of the takeaway. The staff are always very welcoming and polite. The side salad is very good. Always comes exactly like the picture and always tastes just as good. My picture doesn't do it justice but it gives a fair idea. Fish, chips and side salad always a winner in a friendly environment
Lovely restaurant very friendly staff, food was very tasty and our 2 boys were most happy with food too. Prices good and portion sizes also plenty
Never had bad food here, last time I visited I dined in and lady that served me was very friendly so will definitely be back!
It's a chippy selling fish , chips and several other things . Portuguese fish cakes are worth a try . Open on a monday too , only chippy open on a Monday that I've tripped over .Food: 4/5
I've been going to scoffers for years and it's never disappointed yet, Large carpark, seating inside to dine in , Toilets, One thing I love when I go here is how friendly everyone is. I like a good laugh and some banter and you'll get that here, Ask to try her hand made fish cakes. There yummy .
Good portion size. Open at lunch and there was a queue. I was approached by a gentleman who said that this was the best in the local area. I would say this place has good points and bad like any chip shop. Chips are fairly standard and nothing to write home about but are worth their money. The saveloy tastes great. Loads of meaty flavour and the skin has a little smokey flavour. The bite was perfect firm but not like a brick and the meat was juicy. To move to a 5 is about moving the chips to something special
This place seems to have gone up and down over the years but, lately it’s been perfect!
