After a tough drive down last Friday this was the perfect tea. Great service, delicious fish and chips for 4. Great size portions. We only needed 2 lots of chips to share.
Highly inconsistent. I've gone once before and had great food but twice now the chips have been greasy and full of little black eyes. Personally I prefer my chips not to be staring back at me when I'm eating them. I really don't know how the staff can peel and cut these potatoes and think it's good food especially for what is a premium price for the surrounding area. I can travel about 2 miles in either direction and find significantly cheaper chippies with much better chips. They must just be preying on the families up on holiday because I can guarantee the locals will be buying elsewhere.
Food was really good and service was too, really enjoyed my tea there, deffo recommend a visit.
Made this stop as part of my circular walk from Holyhead via Porth Dafarch and Trearddur Bay for lunch today. Was not disappointed! Delicious mouth watering piping hot haddock in a batter that was so light and unforgettable. Fresh chips covered in lashing of salt and vinegar and my favourite- garlic mayonnaise. The lady serving me was very kind to let me eat at the counter because I was soaked through and it was still pouring with rain outside. Both the proprietors were so nice. A fish and chip meal I will never forget! Thank you!
Fantastic fish chips and mushy peas. Lovely service. Fish tasted great with a crispy batter, the chips were perfect too crispy on the outside Very good price for 2x fish & chips 1x peas 1x bottle of coke just over £23, amazing value considering the restaurant nearby wanted £19 EACH!
