We came with friends and family around 2pm on a Saturday, no sooner had we sat down, than a DJ started up with a full sound system around the corner a few meters from us, it was so loud the waitress could barely hear our order, and we could barely talk to each other. We asked if it could be turned down a bit, the waitress said quite a few tables had asked and they were asking the general manager to ask the DJ. It never got turned down. We saw two groups asked to be relocated to behind the stairs where it was a little quieter and two other groups give up and walk out.nJust overall really weird decision for weekend lunch time, doesn't fit the venue and at the very least is more suited to after 9 or 10pm.nThe food quality was no were near as good as previously.nnWill not be returning
The steak sandwich was very dry and almost burnt. The vegetable salad next to it was already mushy. The manager took it into the kitchen and told the chef to see it but never come back. It was a very bad experience. I don't recommend it and won't come back again.
Dog friendly and superb sauce on tap! Only stopped in for a Sunday midday drink but managed to get a table outside in the sun with a glorious view of the beach and sea. Restaurant looked really nice inside - we will be back to try out the menu for sure!
I ordered a american style southern fried chicken. When i opened up the chicken there was blood dripping from it as they probably didn’t cook it enough, I was very disappointed. The staff workers seemed more concerned than the manager. But although the service was okay and the atmosphere is beautiful.
Generally good experience all round, really really appreciate the staff accommodating us on the day & finding us a table.nMy food was great, really delicious, I had the soup to start and the Fish & Chips.nMy partner however had the Beetroot Risotto & didn’t think much of it, the portion was significantly smaller than the other meals & it was pretty bland/tasteless, was an okay meal, certainly wouldn’t have sent it back, but just underwhelming.nnStaff were really lovely & welcoming, good service all round.
