Scarborough Borough Council

ive had numorous problems with the tramps at 8 fire station yard for a yearleaving rubbish outside the property, they even try and disguise household waste as recycling, the council have done nothing at all.

Last time I visited Scarborough was 30 years ago. So we decided it was time to visit. Much of Scarborough hadn't changed. The big difference this time ,I am now disabled and in a wheelchair. To my dismay I couldn't believe in 2017 the amount of buildings I couldn't get in. Restaurants , Public Houses , Amusement Arcades , Shops etc. I know Scarborough is a old holiday town but a few ramps or lowered steps would make a massive difference to me and other disabled people. Has nice as Scarborough was I will not be revisiting. I felt excluded and embarrassed. Ian Lamb

I have lived all over the UK and the world and SCARBOROUGH COUNCIL are the worst council I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with! Unfortunately, despite the tax payers of Scarborough paying the councils very high wage bill, council staff seem to forget that they work for us, but treat us with total and utter contempt! It is a waste of time disputing anything with them - THEY are ALWAYS right, not the customer. They have a very ironic sign outside their office on St Nicholas Street which says "Customer First" - first to be ignored or treated like scum perhaps?! If they were a business, the customer could go elsewhere but unfortunately we are stuck with these idiots!

Terrible people I once saw them stealing toys off children and drowning kittens in the harbour.

I received a call from the Council today but missed it due to working in an office. On my break I called back and was put through to "customer services." I explained what had happened and asked what this call was regarding. What happened next is probably stupidity at its very very best. The customer service agent asked ME what it was regarding!!?? I replied that this was the reason I was ringing THEM as I had no clue, she replied by telling me that 100 + agents worked in the office and it could be about anything. I asked if they had any kind of system were someone may have possibly noted the fact that they tried to call, could she search by number, address or NI Number? She said no and that I should just answer when they call back. I explained to her that I work 9-5 in an office, the same hours as hers and that I am unable to answer. She then repeated what she said!!!???? WHAT'S GOING ON HERE??? WHY THE HELL DID YOU CALL??? TELL MEEEEEEEEEE? We are in 2017, a digital revolution full of excellent, top spec, CRM systems with full 360 vision of a customers frickin account and you can't even do a simple search????? Your the council, you should have top of the range systems. I even provided you with my e-mail address and YOU SENT ME THE SAME STUPID REPLY IN THAT TOO!!!! What was the point ARGGGHHHHHHHHH
