great local cinema offering incoming films at a great price £5 student tickets be aware that not all screens have reclining seats screen 1 didn’t but others do. It could possibly be made more obvious online which screen rooms have reclining seats as it wasn’t clear until you arrive at the venue. The double sofa seats also don’t recline but you can’t really complain for the price and atmosphere of this venue! Parking across the street is free for 2 hours or unrestricted after 6pm!
Great cinema, easy to get into and book, comfy quiet and not rowdy like city centre ones. Polite staff and helpful. Highly recommend
Love you this cinema....family feel... lovely and warm....prices are cheap but cinema feels quality.... you can also snuggle up in a big cuddle chair.....wouldn't go anywhere else.
Reasonably priced for tickets. Feels old fashioned in a good way. Seats are quite comfy and the floor is angled so much that you can see the screen even with people sat in front of you. The screens are pretty small for the size of the rooms though.
A great institution. Best value on cinema tickets and the usual cinema treats, popcorn etc... a lot cheaper than the likes of showcase and cineworld. Old style cinema seats but still comfortable and the place is clean
I have worked at savoy cinema for almost 6 and half years and I absolutely love it, the staff and management are very helpful and friendly, the tickets are affordable and the popcorn and drinks are very reasonably priced, a great day out whether it by yourself, a date or as a family, I've experienced all.. came here before I worked here and ill certainly continue to come .photos are of screen 1, which I visited yesterday, very clean and the seats are comfy to seat in.
By far the worst cinema screen i have ever seen. A comically small screen which was ridiculously far away. In the large empty space between the seats and the screen were loads of planks???? I think they were renovating, but it really ruined the atmosphere - I don't want to pay to watch my film on a building site! Also the lights were up for the whole film :
Great cinema, been going here for years, since I was a child, although its less modern than others love the vibe here and originality. Its a great this place is still here alot of nostalgia for me. Comfy seats Cheaper than others too, friendly welcoming staff.
I always go to this cinema in Nottingham, my no.1. If you have a car go to this one, got fresh popcorn, it’s sooo cheap if you’re under 25 with £5 tickets. This is coming from an ex.Film Production student, this place is sick!!
My local cinema and it’s always a decent price and friendly staff They’ve recently had a upgrade to the seating and can say I’m very impressed, just could do with the reclining a tad more
