We always come here for our movie night and enjoy the experience. The staff are friendly and all the screens are clean. Easy access to the car park and city centre and other places. Only one downsize, women toilet is clean but every hand soap dispenser is empty
Cineworld are have financial problems and after my last visit it is really starting to show. Toilets were tired and dirty. Our show was in screen 5 which upon entry was uncomfortably hot. It wasnt properly cleaned from the show before. A number of chairs are out of service and the one I had reserved seemed to have lost all its padding. The kicker is after the film had finished and the credits were rolling they finally decided to turn the air conditioning on.. The only reason I havent scored lower is that my visit was on cinema day so tickets were only £4
TERRIBLE customer service was denied entry to movie and requested for a refund but no proper customer service system. No number to call for customer service. Filled an online form to request refund but told i didnt have a my cineworld account though i booked my tickets using my cineworld account. Even a full family with one child without ID was denied access. Very poor customer service.
Good cinema and lovely staff! I came in today to watch the new inside out movie and was welcomed with a big smile by a staff member, Angelika and she was very fast and efficient with serving me my popcorn and refreshments as I was running late for the film. I felt very welcomed here today will visit again.
Good cinema and great that they support Autism Friendly showings. General facilities are a bit tired and we gave up trying to buy food and drinks a long time ago as the time to get served is far too long, which is even more stressful when you have autistic kids to manage as well. All in all it's a decent cinema just don't expect a true five star experience
I am a proud Cineworld card owner. Today me and my girlfriend watched It Ends With Us We were feeling a bit peckish and had a sweet tooth. So I asked about the ice cream that they serve. Ebony was our server she was polite and informative - she was very enthusiastic too which made her stand out to the rest of the servers we have had before. Thank you Ebony. She told us about this deal where we can have just the plain ice cream scoops or for the same price upgrade it as a Sundae and get toppings for free. The only reason why it’s 4 stars was because they ran out of Sundae Spoons and we had to use the sample tiny spoons. But apart from that everything was great
Waste of time asked for ID for one of our group that was over 15 to watch dead pool. As only had bank card with them was refused entry lost booking fee no help with car parking lost and money spent on food there £30 and tickets -booking fee I now have to wait a week for what a joke will never go back to this Cinema
Mediocre cinema but affordable. Non-IMAX screens often have poor projection with washed out black-tones and incorrect masking on the edges of the screen. There's occasional technical issues like lights going out too late and films starting too early, and the ticket machines are always out of order. Screen 13 particularly has had a large mark in the middle of the screen which is very distracting. When it comes to mainstream movies, this is an affordable option in Nottingham however I often opt to choose one of the independent cinemas to get a better projection quality. Would be nice if they added some seats so people didn't have to sit on the floor if they arrive early to a screening as well.
I really wanted to be able to leave a good review after taking my son to his first cinema screening, after seeing cineworld do autism friendly screenings. Unfortunately, other than the volume and lighting being adjusted, it wasn’t really equipped for much more for children with additional needs. We were not allowed my son’s buggy in the screening, which he really does need unsure why we couldn’t take it in as they had spaces for wheelchairs. We sadly had to call it quits on the film after 20/30 minutes as my son was either trying to escape the movie, or getting upset at me for stopping him. I don’t mean this to be at all negative towards the staff, I just don’t think cineworld have fully appreciated that autism is more than sound and lighting. Even just being allowed a buggy would have made the world of difference.
Blurry, dirty screens every time I’ve been there in the past two years, despite lodging complaints each time. I keep giving them a chance every few months, just to see if it’s the odd bad screen, but the last 3 times I’ve been there, the screens have had some noticeable dirt and been blurry or dim. Go to any other cinema if you can. I’ve had much better experiences Broadway and Savoy. The staff here are absolutely fine and have been lovely, not their fault that the higher ups don’t seem to care about dirty screens.
