We've eaten here on many occasion and would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff are great and make you feel very welcome as does the Landlord. The food not only tastes fantastic but it's very reasonably priced too. Also the menu isn't ridiculously big like alot of places. Icing on the cake is they do a lovely pint. It's got a lovely outside area too which is great in better weather. One of our favorite places to go, definitely give it a try

Absolutely lovely food  we had a pie from the menu best pie we have ever had in a pub. The chef is a more mature guy who knows his stuff, all homemade .we had soup to start with which was gorgeous and full of chicken .we were so full when we came away.definitely going again .

Found this gem whilst passing through Hunsworth Nr. Cleckheaton. Good traditional British grub, prepared and cooked to a high standard. Very friendly staff and a great oldie /worldly feel to the place. Guessing the age of the inn, but I reckon 2 to 300 years old.

We visited this pub for the first time on New Years Day the pub is lovely and comfortable the staff are attentive but the beef dinner is to die for as were the other meals.Hats off to the chef who came out to ask if all was ok.We will be going again SOON.

The food was amazing this has to be my new favourite place to eat and the staff are so friendly the chef really cares about his food you can tell

Can't fault this oldie world pub!!!! Great staff and the food was fantastic ,price was really reasonable too.Big car park, loads of kerb appeal and a lovely outside seating area for sunny days.Highly recommended!!!!!!

Cosy, traditional pub with welcoming staff. Food was delicious especially the home cooked chips! The best chips I can remember having!

Had roast beef dinner with family. Lovely, fresh homemade meal. Always good food here. Nice staff and real open fire perfect on a cold winters day.
