I had good service here. The man in the shop was kind and courteous, he informed me of the options to get my parcel where it needed to be in the timeframe I needed. Based on the other reviews, I almost went elsewhere. However, I was happy with the service, no complaints.
The man who works in this post office is a very rude individual with absolutely no customer service skills. He refused to send my parcel as he was "finished" for the day even although it was another 5 minutes until the post office closed! In the end he reluctantly sent my parcel after I pointed out he wasn't finished work yet but not after a lot of huffing & puffing & grabbing the parcel from me angrily, absolutely unacceptable customer service!!
Unacceptable Customer Service. The man was rude and intimidating. I was simply sending a package. I was polite and Friendly. He said Alloa Post Office closed because all they did was chat. I won't be back.
I managed to post my parcel today, on the second attempt. The lady today was lovely so that's why 2 stars not 0. The first time I went in the man was working behind the counter and he point blank refused to send my one parcel. He said it was not essential. I have since been in touch with the post office and they say this is not their policy. So if you go in and he refuses to serve you, this is rubbish. Update. Still refusing to serve people refused to serve my mother a book of stamps today.
Small place but the man is really good with me everytime I use the office to collect my benefits, he does a very good long day work, Alloa needs a new post office and he wouldn't be so busy
Unfortunately the wee chap who either owns or works in this establishment has never been on a customer service related course. He is a rude arrogant individual. Poor customer service.
