"Sara’s pasty shop is a family run business which has been running for over 30 years! We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and friendly service. Our pasties are made fresh daily by hand on the premises, so come along and see them being crimped. Please note that our opening hours are as a rough guide- we only make a set number of pasties each day, so once they're gone, they're gone! If you want to call ahead and place an order, it is the best way to avoid missing out. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please ask our staff and we will be happy to advise you. We have some delicious vegan options available and we can also cater for those who are gluten free- however, please call a day in advance to order."

Eagerly awaited. The traditional style pasty was ordered here and of course, it could not disappoint. Not too greasy and not too doughy. A generous filling of chunky beef and veggies and not overly peppery. Waiting time around just after 11:00 was not too long a wait, with hungry customers efficiently served inside. The one-in-one out system works well. A highly recommended delight while here in Looe. Apologies, no shots of the actual pasty - my mouth was watering so much, I forgot.
Up there with the best!!!! Absolutely delicious pasties. Really great filling and they were really, really well filled. Excellent level of seasoning and the pastry was absolutely perfect. Golden, with just the right about of flake, but still strong enough to hold everything together. Delicious! A very strong contender for the best of the best. Make sure you get down to Looe to try one.
This shop makes the best steak pasty out of the 3 that I have tried. The filling is very flavorful, the meat is tender and you can feel the potatoes and onions. A bit salty, that's why I'm not giving it 5 stars. It's served piped hot so I'll take a good 15 minutes before it starts cooling down. £4.5 for it which is standard around town but this one is big enough to challenge other shops' "large pasty" for a price of £5.50. good value
Love love love this cake shop! The staff are amazing, we visit Looe very often and tend to buy cupcakes from here, we also buy our birthday cakes from here as they are delicious. Recommend to everyone!! Also follow their Instagram for delicious cake pics! @sarahscakeshopinlooe
Delicious homemade pasties located in Looe. The pastry wasn’t too heavy and the filling was cheese, onion and potato. Pricing was reasonable and staff friendly. Would recommend having a pasty from here.
Great pasty shop in the backstreets of Looe. Hand made on the property. Great pastries and cakes too. You can Watch the pastry being made on a large table. CAUTION : The seagulls of Looe have a particular penchant for Sarah's pasties due to their high quality and will swoop from behind to grab them. We sat on the Quay and my wife, despite being a local, was outwitted by a big, burly local heavyweight in a fly by pasty mugging incident. The most disappointing part of this tale is that I then had to share my pasty which, as we know, is a hardship that should befall no Cornish boy.
Following a comprehensive testing process these are the best pasties in Looe, probably Cornwall, possibly the world. Delicious flavour, well-proportioned fillings and large - a single pasty will definitely leave you happy, full and thinking about when you can another! Anyway, must dash - I'm off to see what the weekend special is this week!
My husband and I have just finished a traditional pasty from Sarah’s. Well worth the half hour drive from our holiday rental in Portwrinkle. Absolutely delicious and just how a Cornish pasty should be. Great pastry and filling too. Word of warning to anyone over 5ft 9 inches….. watch your head on the way in.
The best pasties. Unbelievably tasty. Full of filling and plenty of meat which was so tender and tasty. Other pasties from elsewhere just didn’t compare. We made a diversion on our way home yesterday to buy some for on the way home. Honestly the best!!!
First, the Pasty shop: As most people say, this is the best Pasty Shop, it doesn't really matter what flavour you go for, you know it will be good. My wife grew up in Looe and even ~23 years ago when we were first dating she, as a former local, said it was was only place to go and it still is. Second, the Cake shop separate building, but doesn't show up on maps - have suggested an edit to Google maps to make it easier to find: I've walk past this place loads of times, and admired the look of the cakes through the window, but not been in, not realising it was related to the Pasty Shop, this year however we were staying in Talland the week that coincided with both my wife's and daughters birthdays, so I got two cakes make to order, throughout the process they were really helpful, even when I made a last minute request for a change. Both cakes looked and tasted great! Thanks Ange and the rest of the team involved!
