This Review is my own Private Opinion of Santander.co.uk Wish I could give them -10 stars. Like other reviews I have found to this bank to be totally useless. Today 14/3/2018 I received a letter from a Matt Hall who said he is Director of Banking & Unsecured Credit, This gentleman is a total idiot, because I don't have a Bank Account with this totally incompetent Bank. Yes I use to have but that was 15 years ago, however one day I went into my local Branch in Tonbridge and was told in no uncertain terms my accounts where closed due to my fraudulent use of them it would seem that I had gone into a unnamed branch in an unnamed town which might have been somewhere in the UK and paid in a cheque for an undisclosed sum according to their Fraud Department. But they would not tell me anymore details. However at the same time I could hear raised voices in another meeting area with a guy who seemed to be having a problem same as mine. So when I was leaving the branch I came across him red in the face and very angry so we had a long chat and yes Santander had accused him of the same as me, coincidence I think not. This bank then refused to answer the two very strongly worded letter from my Solicitor, which really made him see red. Yes I could have gone to the Banking Ombudsman, but as most people know they very rarely come down on the side of the account holder. If I could have afforded it I would have pursed them through the courts, all I could do is warn my family and friends not to use this bunch of cowboys. This evening 14/3/18 I tried to contact these idiots via their phone system another waste of time pressed 1 for bank account asked to entered my bank details URGG!! I don't have a bank account you idiots, gave up and had two cups of coffee instead felt much better after that. Now will have to go into Town and sort them out, which is difficult when you are partly disabled. So if anybody anywhere in the UK hears a large bang it's me having a go at these ***** in Tonbridge which mostly likely will be on Thursday 15/3/18. So Santander are you ready for me.!!!!!!!!
