The worst experience EVER!!! AVOID at all costs!!! They have completely ruined my hair and didn’t even apologised for it. I got laughed at by the “manager” who was extremely rude and arrogant. I came for a balayage treatment and left with half head of blue hair, half purple and half yellow. The back of my hair was left completely untouched. Still getting chills from the experience. Please, stay away!
Had the most lovely time at Sanrizz Salon Brunswick - staff were all very friendly and welcoming. From my consultation I could see how experienced and well trained the staff were , was taken care of by both Tommy & Mike who made me feel comfortable and confident. 100% recommend their services! The salon was clean, and sleek - very modern, best hair salon in London! Must visit if you are looking to have your hair done and treated by the best stylists!Services: Hair coloring
Was approached on my break between lectures around 1:35pm and asked if I would be a model for the academy students. I had until 5pm when my next lecture started, so made them aware of this and agreed as I thought it would be a fun spontaneous thing to do to fill the time between classes. Everything was fine generally, but considering I reiterated that I have to be in a lecture at 5 and was told that they would be quick and I would have 5 minutes to spare to get to my lecture leaving at 6:40pm was a pretty big letdown . Not only did it take an excruciatingly long time to do a cut that usually takes 30-40 minutes, my fringe remained untrimmed and I cannot actually see without using a lot of product to keep it out of my eyes. The colouring, however, I cannot fault. The colours are very nice even if I do not plan to keep it like that so I must commend them for that at least. Overall, for a free cut and colour, I obviously can’t complain much. But I made it clear to the person scouting me that I had a lecture 3 and a half hours later and then reiterated this info to the salon manager / teacher about an hour and a half before said lecture. Even in a training situation or providing a free service, it is essential to be good with timekeeping and train your students/staff in this as well. I did notice that everyone else was spending hours waiting / having their service done as well. Things I would urge as constructive takeaway for the students and management: -Proper timekeeping is a must, I didn’t get an apology when I had missed 35 minutes of my lecture and consequently the rest of it as well due to the overrun - but it shouldn’t have taken so long in the first place. around 3:45hrs in the end -Consult customers properly: It would’ve been better if you asked how I wanted the fringe instead of just cutting it how you liked or rather not cutting it, just styling. I don’t have my fringe how it was styled for personal reasons and felt rather uncomfortable with it like that. -Ask your customers pronouns. The person who scouted me after hearing my voice as well looked at my mildly feminine appearance and introduced me as a lady to the staff, which I am not. I would’ve expected some sort of awareness of this considering the industry and the times, and it costs nothing to be considerate of someone’s identity.Services: Hair coloring
The worst haircut ever received. My hair is completely ruined. The staff had zero knowledge about any technique. An absolute embarrassment to call herself a hairdresser. Asked for a simple bob to my shoulders with bangs. Cut my hair to my ears and asked if the length was okay after cutting it. Never worked with curly hair before and didn't know it springs up when wet and needs to be dry cut! Spent an excruciatingly long time cutting it and hit my ears and eyes with hands and scissors and couldn't even apologies once. Terrible technique and rude and arrogant staff. Please stay away at all costs.
This has been taken over by Vidal Sassoon as a teaching salon. Cost £15 for a haircut as a model. Takes a long time. My first haircut there was not good. On my last visit to improve the cut, the trainer told the trainee to cut my hair very short. Technically a good cut but very short. But it's still worth going there. Like the groovy trainees there.
Had a few hair cuts here from different stylists, have been very happy with the approach and always get something that looks great, Tomi has been hooking me up lately I’m very happy, also great location
Hated it. They take so long even by trainee standards. Plus uts mainly Chinese students which is fine but then has to be translated. So a very long day for a haircut.
Great for discount or free haircut or colour. However you need spend long time to give chance the students and teachers practice on your hair. However sometimes is complete waste of time as Academy don't bother to call you to cancel if students off sick. They also don't offer you haircut done by teachers as they have done in the past. I used their services for many years including my wedding hairdo. Somehow they have problem to find space for my scooter which I parked many years in their lift. Oh dear so awkward So unprofessional, so unfriendly. Wasting time , wasting money for travel card and wasting energy.
I had the WORST experience in my life!! I went there for a model haircut done by one of the students who didn’t know ANYTHING! She was so rude she didn’t know what she was doing with my hair and kept asking her manager who was also so arrogant and rude. I booked an appointment in advance for myself and my mom firstly they didn’t do any haircut on my mom saying we have to reschedule coz they’re ”busy”?? If your lazy and useless students takes the entire day to do just a basic haircut which they don’t even know how to do and yet they’re so rude if you tell them you don’t like it the way they did it they will blame you for it and say oh it’s coz you changed your mind many times?? like are you being serious?? I’m so angry and sad right now can’t stop crying whenever I see myself in the mirror I don’t like my haircut at all. That’s not close to what and how I wanted. They bloody made me wait for an hour to start the haircut and after that took another 5 hours to do my haircut and constantly making me stand up all the times. I felt tortured, mentally stressed and absolutely disgusted by their behaviour. I paid £25 at the end and said will never come to this place again nor will recommend anyone there. Terrible service and extremely rude staff members with 0 talent. Waste of time and money and got the worst haircut in my entire life!!!! Shame on you guys should really close the so called salon with no intention of marking your clients happy or satisfied.
It was one of the worst mornings ever, I spent a lot of time getting here but when I arrived it said that today's session wasn't suitable for me and that I should come back next week. But also yesterday ig reconfirmed with me if I would be there. I think this is very un-contractual and poorly done. If you can't do my hair today, why do you need to confirm a day in advance that I will be there?
