We had dinner at Sang Thai after it was recommended by a local as one of her favourite restaurants. The service was professional and friendly. The vegetarian options were delicious and the presentation excellent. Would certainly return and recommend Sang Thai. They have an interesting lunch menu too.
Really excellent tasty dishes and lovely staff. It's been a while since we've been here due to all the covid stuff and we so enjoyed visiting again after all this time. We've dined here fairly regularly across many years and it's been consistently good throughout - and continues to be I'm pleased to report! A great local restaurant which deserves our support

Superb Pad Thai here and Chicken Satay! Traditional tastes and I recommend the Pad Thai spicy as it’s very on point from Northern Thailand tastes!
First time here. Food was delicious however as soon as we had finished our pad Thais the bill was put on the table a couple of minutes later the server came to the table with the card machine. We were going to order more food, but weren’t even shown a dessert menu. Shame as food was lovely, customer service from this particular guy was awful. Felt completely rushed
Another fabulous Dorking restarant, amazing food. Really polite and friendly staff , nice ambience, prompt and efficient service and most importantly amazing Thai food.
Very nice mixed starter. Not cheap, £5 for a bowl of rice feels expensive but is probably standard fayre now. The two chilli dishes were v spicy and delicious. Overall I will be going back and will probably opt for the set menu so I get a bit of everything
I don’t normally do Reviews but I feel like I need to this time. We have just moved to the area and this restaurant was recommended to us. We had a takeaway and the order was wrong so they changed it without a problem, I asked for them to change all of the dishes as they would be cold as we had to wait for the replacement dishes, they told me yes they will change them. When they brought the food out, I asked if they changed the other dishes and he said yes! I asked him again and he said yes…….however the dishes were not changed and it was very poor, the pad Thai was bland and orange? I have seen lots a good reviews so I’m surprised everything was so bad. I will not be trying this restaurant again only because the waiter lied to me about the food being changed.
This place is the absolute bomb, it's incredible. The food was full of flavour and cooked so nicely - particularly those battered sea food stick things, so lightly battered and well done it melted in your mouth. The staff was so friendly and nice even the other customers smiled and told us the name of a dish, it was overall a wonderful experience topped off with minty chocolates and warm hand towels. I will absolutely be returning there, and would recommend in a heartbeat. 11/10!
