Richmond Cafe is so beautiful! Amazing decor and vibes, great coffee and delicious food! I also LOVE the design and style and how they kept the old front doors and brick walls and such from it's previous life which was a childhood favorite Glad that storefront has a renewed life, and so beautifully renovated!
Richmond Cafe is one of my husbands and I favorite places to go. They started as a Cafe that only served breakfast and lunch and now they are opening up later hours. If you are looking for a cute, spot to hang out with friends or a date night with your love, then you will want to check this place out. But their coffee is the best around and I'll say it, by far WAY better than Starbucks and with better service. This family owned/small business is amazing! Come and check them out!
I came to this café while having a few hours to waste. The staff were super friendly and attentive during my time here. The menu has lots of variety and tasted great. Their coffee tastes fresh and is a great pick me up. I would come here each day if I was closer. I would highly recommend this place for a food, wine, or coffee!
The caramel macchiato is the smallest size I have ever seen. My cup wasn’t even all the way full. Only reason it gets 2 stars is because it tasted good. For a $8 coffee you’d think you’d get a little more bang for your buck
The food at this restaurant is very good, the coffee is delicious, and the atmosphere is very warm and cozy! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because every time I leave the restaurant after dining in my clothes and hair smell like I was sitting inside their kitchen while eating. Not sure if something can be done about putting more fans in the kitchen to reduce the cooking smells from coming out into the dining area.
Delicious food and coffee. Supports local artists. Quick and professional service. Will definitely be going back
I used to frequent this place when it was Main St Coffee, and I am pleased to say it was still a 5 star experience. I was greeted upon entering, the barista Ruth had her hands full with other customers and still managed to provide 5 star service. In less than 15 minutes I had a delicious breakfast and fresh, hot coffee in front of me. Highly recommend coming here for any/all reasons. Definitely coming back again even though it’s a 2 hour drive from my residence. Kudos to the new owners! Can’t wait to try more items!
prior to this visit, i hadn’t been here in years, so i was surprised to see the renovated interior and menu. the space feels very welcoming and alive, a good location to study or meet up with friends. the service was friendly and the food took a fair amount of time to come out. i ordered the veggie skillet eggs over easy and was pleased with my order. the hash browns were very good, and the eggs were done just right. i hadn’t stopped by yet because i missed how the cafe had been before; however, the richmond cafe is somewhere i will be sure to return to next time i’m around! Vegetarian options: very vegetarian friendly, multiple options
Absolutely love this Cafe. The service is outstanding, the decor is so inviting and relaxing and the food is FANTASTIC! Breakfast or lunch, whichever way you go you won't be disappointed. The strawberry mango mimosa was perfect, not too sweet and the rim was sugared to perfection. My caramel latte was dressed with a creative froth display and was so delicious. Not to mention the hot cocoa my son had to have 2 of!!! Run, don't walk to this fabulous cafe or you'll be missing out!
So outside of the food being delicious, they were awesome enough to split our meal onto two plates after we said we were splitting. It's so simple but just...these little things. It's this kind of stuff that makes this place a wonderful stop on the way to/from Lake Geneva from IL.
